Hi everyone!! And here I am…lol… all the way from Singapore.. I managed to sneak away to the internet cafe just downstairs and opposite my block. Since I am not using Miss Fly, you will see this post missing all my famous smilies :)..

Anyway.. guess what? The one time I am in Singapore, they shut down the water supply to my block coz of some water tank maintenance or something. And because they did not send a note in our letterbox (they only stick one notice at the lift lobby), both me and my mom were not aware of the “non-water” day today. So guess what?.. I’m here – without my shower – lol.. don’t worry I sprayed on plenty of perfume on the way down..hehehe..especially after hauling those two pails of water from the hawker center downstairs to my unit.

You know what I need? I need or rather I want an office space of my own in Singapore.. kinda like an office away from home kinda thing complete with an assistant of my own, like the Dallas Office Space that my ex-boss used to have when he’s there on business with internet connection, someone to handle his mails and an assistant to handle this type of emergency, that way even if my mom don’t read and write English, someone will always let me know of what’s happening here like “no-water” day for instance. Oh well!!

We were babysitting for my SIL a few years back. Our nephew at that time was about 4years old. We got a room ready for him and we persuaded him to sleep on his own. Azri, although a bit reluctant, was up to it, after seeing how bright and cheery the room was. We also had his toys around him so I guess he was very comfortable. What he did not know was that we were peeking at him through one of the windows. He actually looked sad but he did sleep on his own that night.

Then around 4am, there was a knock on our door. It was Azri asking us if it was already day. We told him that it was still early. It was then that he requested to sleep with us. We can’t say no, can we, after the effort he put up the night before? He crawled onto our bed and slept till 8am.

How I wished we had one of this Teach Me Time Clock for Azri then. It could teach him the time and would tell him what time to get up from bed. We could have made it into a game that I’m sure he would be happy to play along especially if there was a prize at the end of it. Oh well..another time another nephew perhaps :)

OMG! It’s been a while since me and Azwaj actually go out during the day. Like noon-ish kinda of timing. We either leave early in the day or real late in the afternoon. However, today, seeing how I have not even gotten my coach ticket to Singapore for tomorrow and my mom’s medicine is still not collected yet, we decided to leave around 10am. After all that’s around the time the pharmacy opens anyway.

First stop was Azwaj’s office, to settle some office work before I leave for the whole week. Then it was to the bank, then to one of the pharmacy to collect one type of medication. Then Yong Tau Foo Lunch… yummy… After that followed by buying of the coach ticket, then to the other pharmacy. We decided today to do all errands today by bike. Much faster definitely. It was so hot though that I was practically melting under the hot sun.

Ahh feels so good to be home again, in my air-conditioned study with a cup of hot tea next to me. I have some eye candy of you guys as well.. My Lunch….lolzzz!

In another two days time, I’m going to be in Singapore and I know for sure I will gain a few pounds, what with all the good food prepared by mommy dearest though sinfully rich in cholesterol and fat will for sure be delicious. Who can resist and say no, especially if it like once in three months right?

So again, I’m motivated to lose some extra pounds before my trip though I really don’t know where to start. I heard though rebounders are the best way to exercise. What are rebounders?

Rebounders are similar to trampoline, just like this picture here. I actually research the term and found the Cellercise with the Dave Hall Rebounder website. It does look like fun like doesn’t it. Jumping around on it like that. One thing that really attracted me from the website is that with Cellercise, I can melt fat and cellulite because it is the best form of aerobic activity around. The site also mentioned that this form of exercise actually burns more calories per hour than than any regular jogging or running without any hard impart on your joints!

So, definitely worth a try right?. The problem is my mind is 100% willing to give anything a go, now if only my body feels the same way ;)

One thing about divorces. It’s never pretty! Couples get spiteful, nasty, inconsiderate and that’s when all the pointing fingers would start. They forgot that one day, a long time ago or in some cases, not so long ago, they were in love and they were swearing eternal love. What happened?

Life happened I guess. Reality steps in and suddenly life is no longer a bed of roses. Suddenly love is not enough anymore and it does not conquer all.

So it is wrong then, if some entrepreneurs capitalize on this situation and make a bit of moolah from it? After all, life goes on and sometimes letting go is the only way to go..

Divorce cakes anyone??

I wonder if they have to return all those presents they received and who gets that Jaeger LeCoultre collection?

You guys know I have six very furry kitties who I absolutely love and despite my allergies and asthma, I would never consider giving them away no matter what my doctor say. I keep my house clean and the kitties clean so my asthma is very well maintain smile. However, my allergies does act up sometimes and so I am always on the lookout for ways to keep the house extra clean right up to the core.

I think I may have found the solution and it is the steam cleaners. According to the site that I found it at, steam cleaners not only clean dirt and stains but also eliminate dust mites, mold, germs, spores and bacteria, something that conventional vacuum cleaner can’t do. It also tackles dirty grout, pet stains, greasy surfaces and moldy walls! This product really looks interesting and worth researching so that’s what I gonna do and who knows I may get is sooner than you think kenyit!

Here I am getting ready for my trip back to SG and what happens? I came down with the cold and sniffles. It hasn’t bloomed into any fever or anything but my body and head is starting to ache big time. I don’t even have the appetite to eat anything. What’s worse is Azwaj is also coming down with something, which is not surprising, coz he always comes down with something when I schedule a trip back to SG..heheh..

I hope this bug goes away, and goes away soon coz no point going back if I’m gonna be sick right?

Sigh…

I’ve got good news and I got bad news. The good news is, we decided not to move this time, the bad news is, my landlord just called to say he might be raising our rental! Yikes!!

I really love this apartment, even though it is a rental. The location is perfect. The size of the apartment is just nice, not too big or too small. I got great non-nosy neighbours and best of all, it’s great to be able to have an “ouside yet inside” place for the kitties, balcony of course. Plus I hate moving. I don’t care if its nearbly or long distance moving. I simply hate packing and unpacking. Period.

That being said, there is this great website that can help you with all your moving resources. You can browse their extensive site and find information on Real Estate, Mortgage, Moving, Apartment Hunting, Insurance, Careers, and Home Improvement. So if you are in the States, be sure to check them out ok ;)

I’ve not followed American Idol that much since MJ was eliminated from the contest and have only been following online via youtube videos.

However I made a special effort today to watch the finale show live as I believe the two David’s really deserved the top 2 spots after catching them on youtube last night. I must say I was really impressed with both David Cook and David Archuleta! Both put up amazing performances and it was like watching a concert!

This morning live show was WOW! With appearances from Donna Summers, Bryan Adams and George Michaels, it was worth the time away from blogging..lolzz!! All the 12 finalists also put up a fantastic show and harmonized so well that they could very well formed a band!

Anyway, it was no big surprise that David Cook won the title. He exudes charisma, confidence and was already performing like he owns the stage. Take heart though for DA fans, I’m sure you’ll see a lot more of this guy in the coming future :)

Here’s the video I found from youtube of David Cook’s performance last night.. All I can say is.. superb!!!

Azwaj found this optical illusion which I absolutely fell in love with. You’re supposed to look for 11 faces in this very simple picture. If you look hard enough I’m sure you’ll find all of them too..Just don’t go all cocky-eyed on me and mistake the plumbing fixtures for something else ok…lolz gelakguling

Click on the picture to see a larger one ok

Azwaj actually found 13 faces, I found 12 at first, then after looking hard yet again, I saw the 13th face. How many did you find?

See my answers here.

Oh also.. if you like to see if you’re a genius.. check out my post from way back here..

Have fun peeps!!

I was in the mood to call people today. I sat in front of Miss Fly, with my pending file in one hand and the phone in another.

First I called the pharmacy to put in order for my mom’s Seretide accuhaler as I’m going back to SG next week. Then I called the furniture company to confirm Azwaj’s client’s order for the computer and the coffee tables. No, we don’t sell furniture but it was part of the contract that we won to supply those together with the equipment order.

After that I decided to check up on my Permanent Residence application. I put in this request in June 2006. Azwaj went for the interview in Dec 2006 and we got confirmation of the receipt of application in April 2007 and till now, no news. Hence, I decided to see what’s going on.

After several attempts, I finally spoke to an officer. She was kind and patient as I stammer throught my official Malay..lolzz!!..

Officer: We have your application in the system but you have got to wait for your queue number.
LJ: How long before that happens?
Officer: Oh your application is very new and it will take a while. Still got lots of applicants before you. So please continue with your social visit pass.
LJ: Ok. so when should I call again to check on the status?
Officer: Call back in 2-3 years time

My mood to continue calling others ended.

A friend of Azwaj, C, received a very strange call yesterday. The caller told C that someone told him that C was gay and wanted to see if C was interested in a relationship. As you can imagine C went berserk.

He then called Azwaj to find out if there was anyone that can trace the call and find out who is caller was. C told us that he already inquired with the operator and they can’t help. It seems the operator can give out numbers if we give them the names of the parties provided it’s not a confidential listing but they cannot do the reverse.

I then surfed the net and found out about Reverse Cell Phone Lookup and this site is exactly what C needed but since it is a local cell number, I guess all hope is gone of finding out who the caller was. Unfortunately in Malaysia we don’t have a No Call List either to block further calls from this person to C’s cell phone.

Well, C, I guess you better change your number to confidential listing buddy. That’s all me and Azwaj can say. Sorry dude sedih
