You guy must know that I have six pets that I fondly refer to as my kids. They are Mufasa, Minnie, Nina, Anja, Aggie and last but definitely not least, Smokey. They keep me busy with their never ending request for attention and at the same time keeping me entertained with their many antics and different character. I love looking after them and have never thought as them as burden no matter how much vacuuming I have to do daily.

Some people may not understand this. Some people might think pets are nuisance and just unnecessary trouble. That is why I am thrilled to know people like Mariuca and Jean who totally understand what joy a pet can bring. And that is also why I love Zoo Too.

Zoo Too is actually a social networking sites for pet lovers. Once registered you get to meet other pet lovers, share experiences, learn more about pets and how you can be better pet owners. You can also help other animals in the process as this program donates pet food to animal shelter. Isn’t that awesome?

So if you are an animal lover, you simply have to check it out!

We came back home at about 2am this morning and lo and behold what do we find? Both the lifts or elevators were stuck on the 10th and 7th floor respectively. Azwaj tried to use the override button but unfortunately this time it did NOT work. OMG! I can’t believe we now have to climb up 10 storeys to our apartment and on a full stomach as well!!

:ayokona:

From what we heard, to REALLY repair these lifts, that has been giving us problems for so long, the maintenance company got to forked out RM2,500 per lift. There are four lifts altogether which makes the total cost RM10,000! The residents know that is a lot of money, but hey, we’ve been paying our maintenance cost and that is what it is for! For Godness sake, get a business loan, Get a Personal Loan, we don’t care, but get something done!

Ok, I’m really angry now because I am exhausted from all that “forced” exercise. I am so going down to their office tomorrow, all prepared with some business AND Personal Loans documentations to hand over to the managers. It’s about time someone does something!

Do I really need a reason to hate it? I just do. I hate it when I was younger and I hate it now that I’m older. The problem is, with this sedentary lifestyle that I am leading and at the rate a woman’s metabolism slows down with age, I’m afraid that I will balloon into something that I would eventually regret. Now I don’t want to have to resort to cheap Phentermine as a hunger suppressant because I love eating but I also have to maintain my so-call figure purely for vanity sake.

Ah.. what is a woman to do.. you can’t win can you?

We went out early today as we had errands to run and Azwaj needed to pick up one laptop from his client over at Pandan Indah. As we were exiting the junction to enter a lane on the other side of the road, out of nowhere, another motorbike almost ramp into us. He was going too fast for someone who’s approaching a junction and for that kind of 5pm traffic.

Luckily there was no oncoming car approaching so Azwaj was able to swerve away avoiding this rider and other cars in the process.

Wowee! I know everyone is hungry that close to break fast time but for goodness sake, the food ain’t going anywhere!

Phew..Thank you God for looking out for me and Azwaj today. Ameen!

Azwaj and his partners have been busy. Extremely busy actually kicking off their new project MyEvo.

MyEvo is a forum-based platform for our artist to unite and evolve in the music scene especially in Malaysia. There you can upload your original creation and even have your own fanbase. All songs uploaded can then be voted by listeners and this get ranked in the MyEvo charts. You can check out more About Us here (Just scroll down a bit ok).

Currently we are excited about MyEvo Fest that is happening on 26 October ’08 and songs that are in the top 20 ranks are automatically entered and the artist will get to perform that night! So if you are an artist, old or young, newcomer or even a veteran, this is your chance to shine and get the recognition you deserve. The site does not limit your creativity so feel free to upload even your punk genre songs!

The site also has a streaming radio where all songs uploaded will be featured. Just visit the site and click on the radio at the top right hand side of the page. It would only “pop-out” if you register otherwise the radio switch off when you move away from the main page.

Oh by way, look out for the radio segment called “Evo with LJ”… that’s me with a slight cold …sounding absolutely amateurish.. gelakguling

Support our local music scene!!!

What a lazy day I had today. I didn’t feel like doing anything but just laze in front of the tv with the kitties. Good thing Miss Fly is on wireless access and does not need to be hooked up to the internet via Cat5e patch cable. That leaves me free to just be a couch potato and do my EC drops in front of the telly.

Over the weekend GP told me how happy she was but she did not elaborate why and instead asked me to wait for her “happy” post soon. So I waited patiently and last night she emailed me saying her “happy” post is out!

Yeay, it seemed Baby Issy, her niece, is back from the UK for the Raya holidays! Yihaa for GP!! She is so over the moon and you can so feel it her post. Makes me want to jump up and down too.. gelakguling.

So GP, by looking at her pictures, I figured Baby Issy has grown so much already. I’m pretty sure she would need lots of new clothes right? Perhaps you could get her some baby clothes so she could take it home with her when she goes off again. I think she would look great in this one..

What do you say??…heheh

I just finished doing the Handbag tag over at Life’s Pages and then I thought, hey what would my handbag say about me. So I headed over to BlogThings and what do you know, there’s just the right quiz for it. I did the quiz and this is the result.

What Your Handbag Says About You

You tend to be relaxed throughout the day.
You are naturally at peace.

You are a low maintenance person.
You can adapt to a variety of situations.

You are open and comfortable with who you are. You don’t hide anything.

You are practical and down to earth.
You tend to be a rather reserved
and quiet person.

Hmm… reserved and quiet person? Who? Me? I think I should take the quiz again…gelakguling but hey it’s quite spot on on some .. as usual kenyit

A DECADE or even just five years ago, I could so see myself wearing these awesome Baby Phat Jackets. I was an avid fan of anything in black and I love the way the colors of the print stands out against the black background here. Wow! If only the jackets were made slightly longer till the a few inches above the knees, I could really go while with these selections.

Nowadays, I try to avoid black because of the extremely hot weather in Malaysia. I can’t stand the heat that the color absorb especially when riding on the bike. Nope, not complaining. Just a lifestyle change. Anyone wants my old wardrobe?

I fell in love with this lovely pair of shoes from Rocawear while checking out their online store today for something totally unrelated. I was looking for some infant roca wear clothing for my sister-in-law.

That was when I saw this beauty in the ladies department. Don’t you think it is simply elegant and sexy? This would be perfect with the Hari Raya clothing that I bought in Singapore on my last trip.

I’m not a big fan of shoes but this one is a looker and I’m really hooked. I’m seriously considering getting it though I’m not sure if they deliver to Malaysia. Hmm..

Excuse me as read their shipping terms and check out what else they have because I thought I saw a nice handbag as well… hehehe

WE HAVE BEEN SO BUSY and have not been at home lately that our house is a mess. Where before I would vacuum the floor twice a day, now it’s even lucky if I vacuum like once in two days and don’t even mention to me about mopping. My laundry basket is overflowing and there are still clothes to be taken down from the drying area as well. I think I would mention that I would love a Maid Service right about now!

What’s more is that Hari Raya is coming, which means there’s spring cleaning to do and curtains to be washed. I did mention that I need a maid right?

Perhaps I should look into one of those one off maid service agency just for this occasion. I best do it soon though as it’s already into our 20th day of fasting….

I know that lots of you guys already upgraded to Firefox 3 and some are even raving on how it has improved your surfing experience. As much as I love to upgrade, there are certain plugins that I am currently using that does not support FF3, like my favorite wordcount tool that has made my posting life so extremely easy.

However, since the official release of FF3 recently, I’ve noticed that I’ve been prompted by my system to upgrade like more than three times a day. It even went to the extreme of taking me to their “Agreement” dialog! If I had not paid attention that day and click “YES”, I would have “accidently” upgraded myself..nangih

I’m hoping to delay the inevitable day by day but hope that when the need arise to upgrade, all my plugins would be intact otherwise.. boo hoo!!

Personal Loans are great to have and for being a great and valued member, meaning we use their credit card and pay on time, our credit card company was “kind” enough to offer us their credit card loan offer. Basically it’s kinda of like Unsecured Personal Loan where they add the amount that we cashed out to our credit card amount and we pay it back at fixed rate interest. As much as it handy and useful and all, we don’t think we will be taking it up as we don’t really need it right now. Besides the amount is not that attractive anyway.

What we do need is a real personal loan, like in a big amount, so that we can pay all out credit cards, and then some, and just pay off one loan. If you are in the States and considering something similar why not head one over to AfsLoansOnline dot com. There is no application fees and they need no collateral.

Just a thought.

I spoke to my mommy today and boy was she happy. It seemed that she spent the entire day yesterday in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, SHOPPING! She went with my cousin and her family to Giant, Angsana and Carrefour. They also break fast there and continued with more shopping. All this between 10am to slightly more than 9pm!

She got a traditional malay dress (baju kurung), a pair of shoes (although she already got a pair when I was back during my last trip) and a lovely head-dress (tudung) all for about SGD100. Awesome deal!! But importantly she had fun and when my mommy has fun.. I’m an ecstatic daughter sengihnampakgigi

I just love quizzes particularly one that spells out the the personality. As such I couldn’t resist when I saw this blogthings test over at GP’s blog on the kind of blogger I am. I did the test and whaddaya know.. I am…

You Are a Life Blogger!

Your blog is the story of your life – a living diary.

If it happens, you blog it. And you make it as entertaining as possible.

You may be guilty of over-sharing a bit on your blog, but you can’t help it.

Your life is truly an open book. Or in this case, an open blog!

Hmm.. I do tend to over-share don’t I?? gelakguling

First we had the fire incident, then GP had a fire incident. Then her ceiling lights fell into pieces and now guess what, my ceiling lights fell too last night though it happened at our second home, Azwaj office. Is someone playing a trick on us, GP?…gelakguling

Anyway, it just dropped without any warning. I was in my room at the front and Azwaj was in his room. and then suddenly we heard this “BOOM”. Both of us left what we were doing and started to check what happened.. and this was what we found at the pantry..

Luckily no one was there making drinks or anything otherwise it would quite disastrous and what’s worse is that none of us have any health insurance to our name.. kenyit

Hmm.. I’m wondering now if I will see dead bodies around anytime soon! Choi!!!

Nowadays, kids are so lucky and pampered. My niece and nephew get most of what they desire whenever they request it from their father. From pc games to PS3, you name it, they have it and they don’t even to have save, earn or work for it at all.

I remember when I was growing up -gosh, seems ages ago -I had to save up to own my very first boardgame, Monopoly and I don’t even have a Barbie doll much less a dollhouse!
