I’m dedicating this song to my one and only love, Azwaj, who’s been so understanding through my hectic times. ILU babeh!! You are my Dream Lover!!

***Lyrics***
I need a lover to give me
The kind of love
That will last always
I need somebody uplifting
To take me away

I want a lover who knows me
Who understands how I feel inside
Someone to comfort and hold me
Through the long lonely nights
‘Till the dawn
Why don’t you take me away

[Chorus:]
Dreamlover come rescue me
Take me up take me down
Take me anywhere you want to baby now
I need you so desperately
Won’t you please come around
‘Cause I wanna share forever with you baby

I don’t want another pretender
To disillusion me one more time
Whispering words of forever
Playing with my mind

I need someone to hold on to
The kind of love that won’t fly away
I just want someone to belong to
Everyday
Of my life
Always
So come and take me away

One of the reasons why I am still using blogspot is because of the ease of using the site. It is user friendly, straight-forward and I guess because it’s free (yeah, I’m cheap) and does not have any ads being forced down my throat like a lot of other free hosting companies does. Apart from the occasional outage, I have not experienced any major problems with it. In fact, all my blogs are hosted with blogspot even though some have their own domain name.

If you are, however, seriously considering webhosting for your blogs you should really read this article found on one webhosting blog called Three Web Hosting Mistakes to Avoid. It tells you not to jump at the first cheap hosting package you are offered without reading the fine small print first!

The site is also a great resource center. There, you not only can find “Top 10 WebHosting companies for 2008”, but also read reviews written by real customers like you and me, who have used the hosting services before. You’ll find you don’t have to compromise standards just because you are paying economical prices.

Whatever you decide, make sure you do your homework first. Get some feedback from people who have used the services before. Find reviews like the one found at the website or search for reviews elsewhere on the internet. I would hate for you to wake up one morning and find your blog nowhere to be found. That would be a disaster!

I’m not sure how many of you love or even like Barry Manilow. Some people say it’s strictly a love or hate relationship with him. So I guess mine is L-O-V-E with capital letters! I simply adore him and his songs. Whenever I hear him sings, it’s like he’s singing to just me alone and I would smile, hum and sing along. He is also a great song writer and arranger and I remember how he made all the American Idols contestant, in one of the seasons, sounded so good singing his song that even Cowell couldn’t comment much!

Aww.. I missed seeing him on the telly. I missed seeing him perform. He is so forgotten on our side of the world.. but I will never forget you Barry and the joy you bring to me as I studied for my exams a long time ago :)

I couldn’t decide on what song to feature for Music Monday this time but I did find this medley of his concert in Japan a long time ago – I especially love the second song!.. Enjoy!!

So do you love or hate him? lol!

If you are participating, please leave your Music Monday post here and we will all go and check out your video ookkk :)

OMG! Life have been so hectic these days. Juggling between mommy’s visit and her blurred vision, Azwaj’s fever, cooking, cleaning, Aggie’s rashes, blogging, dropping EC, tweaking blogs, trying to keep up with the fierce competition at GP’s blog and my own cramps, I think I need 48hours or even more in a day !!

NO!!.. I’m NOT complaining.. I’m having FUN!!! LOL.. It’s been a while since I’ve been busy and stressed out and I have been too laid back in my own world that now I feel even more ALIVE!!! I used to thrive on stress and I believe I still do!!!

Alright folk, lunchtime here. Nothing fancy just Ikan Jacket (fish with spices) and veggies. I’d take a picture of it but it the fish turned out a bit burnt..LOL.. So I’ll keep my Canon camera for another dish….lol

Have a great Sunday everyone!

I’m not into traveling these days especially since the thingy with my mom’s eye. She told me that she is still experiencing double and blur vision which seemed to improve if she put on her reading glasses. So I’m bringing her to the Optician to get her eye-glasses and hopefully that would help.

Anyway, if you are planning vacation, perhaps you like to consider Las Vegas. I stumbled upon a las vegas hotel reservations site that is offering 77% off from last year rate on most hotels. I think that sound just awesome. If you can save and still have the best, why not right?

I just love ABBA. I grew up enjoying their song 24/7 and even though they have long broken up, their songs are evergreen and being sung, re-mix and re-recorded by new artist even today! This is one of my favourite song.. Enjoy!!

Lyrics:
I don’t wanna talk
About the things we’ve gone through
Though it’s hurting me
Now it’s history
I’ve played all my cards
And that’s what you’ve done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play

The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
That’s her destiny

I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking I’d be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules

The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
It’s simple and it’s plain
Why should I complain.

But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed

The judges will decide
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all

I don’t wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
You’ve come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all…

In case you guys don’t know, I was back to Singapore on Saturday morning to pick my mom up for a Monday doctor’s appointment here in KL. We left Singapore early this morning and I am now back with mommy and … some homemade Raya cookies! She made this in Ramadhan of course and I have missed it having them two years in a row so this was an awesome treat. I now have one bottle each of Pineapple tarts, Cashew nut cookies and a cookie that I’ve never tasted before but equally delish…

Here are some mouth watering picture..Enjoy!!

Anyway, Azwaj got to work tonight and since mommy don’t feel like eating out, I’ve wanted to order McDonalds and their wonderful Chicken Foldover for that Mexican recipes feel but mommy wanted Nandos instead. So that was what we had. Equally yummy!!

Every so often, I get bored of the way I look. So sometimes I change my hairstyle and sometimes I’m change my eyeglasses. I just had a hair trim before Raya so I thought this time a change is due for my very good friend, the eyeglasses. It’s been a while anyway since I did that so perhaps the time has come to shop for a brand new look.

I’ve been seeing a lot of these new style that has very broad side rims. I think they look cool but Azwaj seems to think they look nerdy so I scratched that whole idea. After all I wouldn’t want to look nerdy or ugly in the one person’s eye that matters to me kenyit

So I’m still looking around and I heard that Zenni Optical, the only place online that I’ve heard off that offers USD8 per eyewear and approved by The Clark Howard Show, has a range of new design in. And true enough, there were plenty of that broad rim style available. However I did see this cute pair just shouting at me. Just look at the detail on the side. It looks like a flower! I’m so loving it! sengihnampakgigi

And you know what? Since it is so cheap, who knows I may even get that broad rim one as well..lol!
