I HATE LIZARDS… well.. more like SCARED of them rather.. lol! Though A can’t understand that he has gotten used to me screaming and shouting and going ‘EEEEEEEEWWW” each time I encounter one..
And.. today was no exception.. except A saw the two lizards first… fighting in the kitchen.. He told me very casually not to go to the kitchen and I was like.. Why? and he just smiled and as he grabbed his torchlight and insecticide say.. “there’s two lizards.. fighting in the kitchen and one of them was biting the other one in the neck!?” I went “WHAT!!” I immediately went to the kitchen and despite going “eww.. eww”, I still wanted to witness the fight and when A sprayed them with the insecticide… I, much like the lizards, ran for my life!
This is what one of them looked like “very much dead”.. the other one, much to my dismay, disappeared, no where to be found. I just hope I won’t find him dead in one corner later today!

The place is starting to look neater but there are are still stuff that are missing it’s storage space simply because this apartment is a tad smaller than the previous one and we had to make do with less storage space.. BUT.. we’ll survive.. just a minor setback..

Now that most of the boxes are unpacked, our new apartment is looking more and more like a home. No more tripping over boxes and no more searching high and low for stuff that I know I have but yet to find.. lol!
Next on the to do list is for A to fixed up our “Hexagon” unit. We have had this water filtering system for over five years now and we love it. It is water infused with oxygen and the water cluster is really small so your body absorb it more easily. Anyway, we went to Cosway today to get the replacement cartridges and was pleasantly surprised that we qualify for some discount. Instead of paying RM360, we only had to pay RM300.. Sweet!!
However, upon reaching home, A found that the water hose that he needed to hook up the unit to the water pipes was a tad too small and so now we got to go and get some slightly bigger ones. Oh well, I guess it’s bottled water for now..

Monkeys are a common sight at my new apartment building simply because I have a forest for a front yard. You can find them at parking lot roof top, crossing the road and even at the ledge of my corridor (though they are not loitering around now since we’ve moved in). The residents here are so used to them that they don’t seem to pay any attention to their presence. I’m still new here so my phobia is still fresh out of the box. I’ll let you know if I get used to them soon or not.. hehheeh

My feet now really needs extra care. I noticed that the heels of both feet have started to crack and with the walking around that I’m doing right now, it is not really helping. I’ve been to the pharmacy looking for the right creme to buy and the same with acne treatment, there are a few brands to choose from as well. I settled with Ellgy as the salesperson told me that it is the best selling so far…

Medical cost nowadays is so high that sometimes I am almost afraid of going to the doctors for few of finding out what sickness I have… lol..
For example, my mom just called saying one of my uncle was sick and his bill for a visit inclusive of some medicine was SGD500 plus! And then another aunt who has been suffering a chronic illness was also charged a hand and foot for her medication. I’m guessing now is as good a time to start considering Medicare supplement for me and A.
What are you doing to prepare for your medical bills in the future?

For the past month, Miss Fly has been behaving very strangely. I thought initially it was her memory card but then I noticed each time I reboot she does a shutdown instead. I’m suspecting it’s her motherboard.
Lucky for me, I extended her warranty for another year the last time she was being serviced so after the dust settled from my move and I have bought my new desktop pc, I will be sending her to the service center to get her checked out. In the meantime, I am backing up my data both via online backup and on dvd. With my online business I can’t afford to lose any data!

New Home, new routine, new workspace. That usually means needing to take an extra few minutes getting used to new location of stuff. Just today, for instance, I was cooking lunch and I took a whole ten minutes looking for my pasta drainer! Even my stove feels different to cook on! LOL!
You know it is so quiet here that each clink and clank sound I make in the kitchen seems to echo through my corridor.. The silence is deafening, that’s for sure! Oh well..I guess it just need some getting use too..
The good news? No monkeys in sight on the ledge of my front corridor though there was the smell of food. Phew!

Yes.. that pretty much summed up my sentiment for last week.
Gosh! So much activity that I don’t even know where to start. All I do know is that I need a brand new shoe because I worn out the one I have now with all that walking.. perhaps something from Ugg?!
And guess what? I just got my internet connection today. The men installed the phone line last week on Thursday. Needless to say, I was ecstatic but then when the streamyx people called on Friday to re-activate the internet line, they couldn’t detect the phone line and it being Friday and all, they could not do anything till Monday!
Anyway, A was too busy to connect all the wires yesterday and only did it today at midnight.. and so here I am.
I’m sorry for the lack of Music Monday code this week but I’m sure all went well for everyone right? I am still clearing email in between unpacking.. so you might not hear from me too much this week..

We got home at 11pm tonight after sending some stuff to the new place and cleaning Azwaj’s office. We had an early dinner at 6pm, bought Yong Tau Fu for late dinner and on the way home got some Durian for dessert. Hmm.. sure sounds like a lot of eating to be done eh? LOL!! I guess it’s ok because I’m sure using lots of energy with all this lugging around of boxes and cleaning up at two locations! So I guess I wont’ be needing any of the the best diet pills yet.. unless of course I continue with this eating habit..tsk tsk tsk!
Oh I’ve lost my internet connection today but am online right now courtesy of MNG!! haha..
