I collected my pressies from GP today from the post office. The package arrived on the 17th but since it was the fasting month and with traffic and what not, A said we would only collect it after Raya.. so today was the day!
It was quite suspenseful coz I know GP used the name LadyJava and if the post office requested for identification then I’m in big trouble coz no where in my identification card say “LadyJava”.. heheh.. but everything went smoothly though the man at the post office did look at me strangely when I said my name was LadyJava.. lol!!
Anyway.. I love my pressies GP.. Thanks so much dearie!! Love ya!!

We had our very first Raya Makan-Makan (Hari Raya Open House) at our new home today. Fun fun day with relatives and friends and a whole lot of great food (if I do say so myself.. lol!)

Though most of our friends were still not back from their “Balik Kampung” or “Return to Hometown”, the turnout was awesome. My in-laws came, Azwaj met up with his ex-school friends and I met up with a friends that I’ve lost touch with for sometime…..and look who showed up.. Thanks for coming guys!
I hate people that play those very loud fireworks. Not only are they illegal, they are also dangerous! I mean those sparklers are fine but not those firecrackers kind of thing. I keep getting shock from the loud explosion that sometimes I totally forgot what I was doing because I was too shocked. I was telling Azwaj that I could easily had a heart attack if I had a heart condition.
Right now some inconsiderate people are having a field day exploding some right now. I can’t even get some peace looking at a site with Mopar performance parts and if these loud explosion cause me to burn my Rendang, I’m going to get violent for sure!

First day of Raya was awesome. We slept late as usual on Raya’s eve, and after A went to the mosque, we decided to sleep in a bit more before visiting my parents in law. So we only arrived at around 2pm to their place which is about 10minutes away. Upon arrival, we saw a whole group of people in front of the front gate and it was all A’s relative ~his aunts and uncles and his cousins as well.
It was great catching up with them and I laughed so much that day that I actually lost my voice. LOL!
What came with great company? Great food of course. My two sisters-in-law took over the kitchen from Mama this year and prepared all their specialty and since it was such a spread, I decided to try Miss VB’s (my trusted camera phone) panoramic function and came up with this…. guess I need more practise eh? lol!
More pictures coming up over at my food blog! OMG I really need those weight loss products ! LOL!

Not sure why but I’ve been having this splitting headache for two days now. I wake up fine, start doing a bit of work and it sort of creep up on me. I’m fasting so I can’t take any panadol or anything so all I want to do is sleep but I can’t since I got tons to do before I take some time off for the Raya holidays. And oh no! Is that a beginning of a zit I see? Good thing we’ll be going out today so I can grab whatever acne treatments is at the pharmacy..

You know how sometimes you get calls at the most strange times? Well, yesterday, while waiting for the lorry driver to call to haul Azwaj’s motorbike to his parents house (thieves stole the wheels), we got the most irritating call from one of the call centers. Basically they want to sell us time share and despite saying that I can’t talk now and that I was waiting for another call, the caller insisted that his call was only going to take 5 minutes. Well I told him.. it was 5 minutes I don’t have and guess what.. he hung up!!!!

Yeap.. you heard me .. the tv show “Supernatural” is back for it’s fifth season! Yihaa!!.. Starring Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, the two brothers continued their fight to save earth from the pending apocalypse that Sam started!
I personally love this show not only for the actors (nice eye candy I must admit!) but also for the plot each week that keeps me at the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode.
The first episode of season five has already aired on September 10th and I must say I can’t wait for next week show!!

I woke up this morning all refreshed from my eight hours sleep last night.
I wanted to do my laundry (the machine is humming now), bathe at least one of the kitties (Awan is now all sweet smelling), check out some mortgage life insurance and followed by a session of my favorite daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful on utube. I have a favorite channel and the uploader is very diligent in her uploads which makes her very popular with the “Boldie” fans!
Anyway, I got my speakers switched on, and my pillow with me, hit the bookmark url and this terrible message welcomed me “The account has been suspended“!!!
The uploader has pre-wired us with this possibility a few weeks earlier but I was hoping later than sooner.. Boo hoo.. what will I do now?!

I loved Debbie Gibson when I was growing up and thought I would feature her this week. I was actually looking for songs like Lost in Your Eyes, Only In my Dreams for example.
