I found this while clearing out my email today.. if this isn’t a deadbolt situation,  I don’t know what is..lol!

Boss said to secretary: For a week we will go abroad, so make arrangement.

Secretary make call to Husband: For a week my boss and I will be going abroad, you look after yourself.

Husband make call to secret lover: My wife is going abroad for a week, so lets spend the week together.

Secret lover make call to small boy whom she is giving private tution: I have work for a week, so you need not come for class.

Small boy make call to his grandfather: Grandpa, for a week I don’t have class ‘coz my teacher is busy. Let’s spend the week together.

Grandpa(the 1st boss ;) ) make call to his secretary: This week I am spending my time with my grandson. We cannot attend that meeting.

Secretary make call to her husband: This week my boss has some work, we cancelled our trip.

Husband make call to secret lover: We cannot spend this week together, my wife has cancelled her trip.

Secret lover make call to small boy whom she is giving private tution: This week we will have class as usual.

Small boy make call to his grandfather: Grandpa, my teacher said this week I have to attend class. Sorry I can’t give you company.

Grandpa make call to his secretary: Don’t worry this week we will attend that meeting, so make arrangement.

… round and round we go… lol!… Have a great weekend all!

More Shopping

We were shopping at our local supermarket the other day and checked out some of the HDTV available there. We’re not buying it straight off but since the tv at home is showing signs of aging we wanted to see what’s in the market and their price range so we could budget for one and have some standby money. Although we don’t watch tv much, it would be kinda strange if there is no television in the living room right? Anyway, we were both happy to see that the prices have dropped way lower than when it was when they first came out.. so yeay.. we can afford one for sure.. lol!

Eclipse? No Thank you!

Ok I have to say this, I am not a Twilight fan. I only watched the first one because there was nothing else to watch and since Azwaj got the DVD from his friend, we decided to just give it a whirl. In my opinion, there was nothing spectacular about it. I have watched better love stories and the effects was so-so. I don’t think I would be catching the second or the third sequel. Oh please don’t hate me! Lol!

Having that that, if you are a fan, how about some funny tshirts that relates to the movie. After all what is a fan of Eclipse if you don’t have the Eclipse clothing line to show for it right? How about this awesome t-shirt that you can customized. Just enter your name, hit submit and next thing you know you have a t-shirt that says that Edward or Jacob loves you instead of Bella! lol! Awesome I say. But ladies, in all honesty, I prefer Jacob anytime over Edward. I mean, Edward looks dead right? But wait, he is dead, he is a vampire … hahah…

Anyway, while writing this post, I noticed Eclipse on Rotten Tomatoes. though I don’t think that particular Eclipse movie has anything to do with vampires and werewolves. Perhaps that would be a better love story? Hmm..

I love Joe Cocker’s voice and with song it’s no difference and I love that although this song has such heartfelt lyrics it is not as sappy as some heartbroken songs can be. I Love Weddings

.. especially the ones in Malaysia!  Why? Well in Malaysia, apparently the “bunga telur” or souvenior from the wedding party does not only comprise of one item but a few ones that comes packaged in a cute little thank you bag just like this one.

Although this particular one is from the VIP table, I’m sure the one that was given out the others were equally as interesting.

Once I got it, I can’t wait to see what inside. It feels like I was looking for loose diamonds, Azwaj said.. lol! Anyway this particular goody bag has a nice fan, a cute little cup that I guess can be used for decoration or Espresso , some biscuit and a pack of raisins and dates. Awesome eh? I love it! lol!

Well, it’s SHIT … that’s right, SHIT!

Shit may just be the most functional word in the English language.

You can smoke shit, buy shit, sell shit, lose shit, find shit, forget shit, and tell others to eat shit.

Some people know their shit, while others can’t tell the difference between shit and shineola.

There are lucky shits, dumb shits, and crazy shits. There is bull shit, horse shit, and chicken shit.

You can throw shit, sling shit, catch shit, shoot the shit, or duck when the shit hits the fan.

You can give a shit or serve shit on a shingle.

You can find yourself in deep shit or be happier than a pig in shit.

Some days are colder than shit, some days are hotter than shit, and some days are just plain shitty.

Some music sounds like shit, things can look like shit, and there are times when you feel like shit.

You can have too much shit, not enough shit, the right shit, the wrong shit or a lot of weird shit.

You can carry shit, have a mountain of shit, or find yourself up shit creek without a paddle.

Sometimes everything you touch turns to shit and other times you fall in a bucket of shit and come out smelling like a rose.

When you stop to consider all the facts, it’s the basic building block of the English language.

And remember, once you know your shit, you don’t need to know anything else!!

You could pass this along, if you give a shit; or not do so if you don’t give a shit!

Well, Shit, it’s time for me to go. Just wanted you to know that I do give a shit and hope you had a nice day, without a bunch of shit. But, if you happened to catch a load of shit from some shit-head………..

Freebies Galore

Who does not like Freebies?

Be it Free Samples or Free Stuff, I love to get my hands on them even if I don’t have a need or use for them. Call it the “kiasu” in me. Hey, I’m allowed. I’m Singaporean. Lol!

I found a website recently that seems to offer lots of free offers. Unfortunately most of the coupons and offers there are not available for my county and I keep getting that same message over and over again. I am frustrated to say to least as there were lots of offers that I was really interested in. There were free offers for chocolates, free samples for pet products, slimming products and even beauty products. How awesome is that?

Focus

.. or lack thereof..

I’m on deadline and it sucks. Not sure what’s going on with me this month but I’m always so sleepy all the time. I’ve been distracted and not as focus as before. I was supposed to look into a lot of stuff like best term life insurance and things but I’ve let those fallen through the crack. Argh.. I also blame it on the kitties in front of my house. They are simply too cute!

I'm Never Gonna Lose Weight

My diet right now is far from diets for quick weight loss for sure. Just last weekend we were at our local supermarket and as I glanced back at our purchases, which consisted of instant coffee, potato chips, instant pies, burgers, “roti prata” and the twin pack of “double dutch” flavoured ice cream, I’m thinking to myself, I’m so screwed.. lol! Where are all my healthy items? Where are the food that are high in nutrients and low on the fat? hahah..

The answer? They are all still on the shelves! lol!

Move Stories

When we moved from Ampang to Kelang in 2004, we hired an official moving companies. We didn’t know what to expect actually because this was the first time either me or Azwaj hired one. When the “truck” came that Monday, we had a surprised of our lives, as the “truck” that came was a “container” and what was more surprising was that we actually filled it up with our stuff, though of course Azwaj’s motorbike went on as well. lol! However, the moving companies did an awesome job of packaging everything and we were happy that all belongings arrived safe and sound at our new home.

After that exercise, we sort of talked about it and wondered how our move would be if we ever decide to move out of Malaysia,  like perhaps if we decide moving to California for a change of scenery instead? OMG! I don’t even want to think about how many containers we would need to move all of our beginnings even though it is just the two of us. I think the California Moving Companies would definitely be able to handle it but will surely have to charge us a hand and a foot for the move and the California Moverswould surely wished they didn’t take out orders! lol!

Anyway, am not planning to move anytime soon. We are both happy where we are unless of course we win the lottery and buy our own house with an indoor swimming pool.. ahahah

How I Update My FaceBook Status on MS Outlook

I just found another plugin for MS Outlook today. This one is call FBLook and it lets me update my facebook status live right from outlook. So now I can just update my status to say “taking my diet supplements“.. without opening another browser. Awesome right? I know!

All you need to do is just..

1. Download the file from the FBLook site
2. Close your outlook application if you have it opened, install the file
3. Reopened outlook and you will already see the toolbar at the top
4. Follow some simple instruction and update away!

How To Use Twitter on MS Outlook

I’ve recently decided to pop out my main email account to my Microsoft Outlook and after several hours of popping out. I can safely say, all my emails are now intact and safe and sound in my hard drive.

So there I was tweaking and customizing with rules (making sure that emails containing keywords such as slimming pills that work are highlighted) and what not on my outlook, when it suddenly occurred to me if there would be a plugin or an add-on out there for me to access twitter in outlook. So once again, I did my fingers go the walking and I found one fantastic plugin. It’s called Twinbox and it’s awesome. All you need to do is …

1. Download the file

2. Install the file but not before making sure your outlook application is closed off first

3. Reopened Microsoft Outlook and you will see a toolbar right on top as shown. You can easily customize this toolbar too.

4. Once you add all your twitter accounts, you will see a directory just like shown on the picture as well.

5. That’s it!

Enjoy!

FYI: This plugin would not work with Outlook Express.

Babies and More Babies

Babies, babies. From human babies to animals babies, I’m surrounded by babies everywhere. Don’t believe me? Well, A’s friend just gave birth, my neighbour just returned yesterday from the hospital with a baby in her arms and there’s two baby kittens in front of my door! What more proof do you need? lol! Are the Gods telling me something.. hahah…

Anyway, check out this cute baby products that I found online while googling something totally unrelated to babies..

This baby walker is the cutest I’ve seen so far. Remember my princess post, well you daughters can start extremely young now.. hehe!

Here’s the stroller for all mom-joggers. Having no babysitter does not mean you can’t go jogging. Bring your kid along on your jog with this beautiful stroller. I love the pink inside!

And finally though definitely not least, how about a full featured stroller for any situation. Sun? Rain? No problems. This particular model even has Sun and Bug Shield!

Not Qualified for Medical Care

It’s been 4 years now since my permanent residence application and the last time I heard from the immigration department was when I called in 2008 and they told me to call in 2years time! It utterly rendered me speechless!

So I decided to call them today and though they didn’t tell me to call back in another two years, they asked me a lot of questions on how long I’ve applied etc,  and at the end of the conversation, the officer told me to check online instead to see the status of my application. I immediately went to their site which has terrible navigation. I think it would be easier to apply for insurance for business in Hawaii! After locating the link and entering my reference number, I was once again utterly speechless. Suffice to say, I’m still waiting :(

Sometimes I wish I don’t care but I do. Why? Well, because firstly, I like to feel that I somehow belong in this country I call home. Secondly, as I get older and probably my medical need would increase, I need that blue identification card to get “resident” fee as and when I need medical care. I mean, if I was working here in Malaysia right now, I wouldn’t even qualify for the company’s rates for group health or these providers of group health would probably charge the company a hand and a foot to get me included, simply because I have a Singapore identification card.

As for my Singapore “Medisave” account, though I have funds there, I can only use it if I was hospitalized in Singapore hospitalized. Sucks? You betcha!
