BlogRolling.Com Have Ceased Operations

I was looking through my blog to check for broken links and things when I noticed my “Friends of LadyJava” page was empty! I had no idea why until I check my blogroll service provider called Blogrolling dot com and found out that they have ceased operations.

Music Monday #118: The Christmas Song - Mel Torme and Judy Garland

This must be one of my all time favorite Christmas Song and the more classic it is, the better! If I had a karaoke machine, I would definitely list this song in my favorite playlist.

Anyway, you know there are so many different versions of it that I was seriously thinking of featuring them all.. lol! but alas I succumbed to this classic one by Mel Torme and Judy Garland. Doesn’t she just look beautiful here?

Can't Wait for 2011

This year is proving to be a tenacious one. Bad things just keep happening although the year is almost up. Just a few days ago I called my mom and apparently she was sick and her asthma was acting up. I was ready to leave for Singapore but she got her asthma down after I suggested she up her ventolin and seretide intake. Now’s she recuperating and I’m calling her every 2hours to check up on her.

Then today was a very busy day. We had to run some errands in KL and while on the way home, Azwaj noticed that the front tires of his motorbike was running short on air and the whole motorbike was all wobbly while we made our way to the nearest petrol kiosk to top up on air but apparently air was not the only thing we lost, someone had stole the cover to the tires air tube and that was why air was seeping out of the tires! We had to spend a good hour at the workshop and although it only cost RM10 to put in a new tube, we lost like an hour from the day. Argh..

I will be so glad when this year is over. I’m even thinking of getting camacho triple maduro cigar to usher in the new year! lol!

I’m On GetGlue

I was minding my own business on twitter and every so often I would see Mariuca and Shemah twitter update saying that they have done something or receive some form of sticker on getglue.  Ever so curious, I found out from my BFF buddy Mariuca, also known as GP. what the program is all about. It didn’t really appealed to me until I found that I could be getting the stickers that I’ve collected in the program in my mailbox in Malaysia PHYSICALLY, which means I would be literally be holding them in my hands one day to do as I please with them… and I think that is absolutely awesome.

So I set to work and within day I collected my first 20 stickers which is by the way the minimum number that you need to request for the program to send you the stickers. So my stickers is expected to arrive to Malaysia between four to six weeks.. can’t wait to get my hands on them!

Scared Stiff

I was in front of my pc with the kitties lying on the carpet in my home office when Awan suddenly jumped on Azwaj’s desk and starting meowing away at the ceiling. To my horror, I noticed a humongous lizard making it’s way towards my desk! I jumped up, started shooing it away but because Awan was on the opposite end, it decided that I was the lesser evil and continued on its way in my direction. I shrieked, grabbed Awan, shut the door and decided to wait it out by watching the télés instead.

An hour passed, Azwaj came home and all is calm again.. lol!

Never Enough Space

Space is almost always never enough for most of us. For example, my mom has a whole apartment to herself, albeit it is only a one room apartment, but she still complains of not enough space…so much so that I always teased her that I should rent the parking lot downstairs and put up one of those steel buildings to house most of her clothings… lol!

Seriously though I too should stop buying more clothing .. am so running out of wardrobe space as well! I may end up hanging them in boxes like this.. hahaha

Holiday Mood

Oh how wonderful would it be if I had a shermag glider in my living room right now. I can tell you it would be a relief to sit on one after sitting for  six hours straight in the non-stop coach from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. I can just imagine myself rocking myself gently while relaxing in front of the television and drinking my six in one coffee with goat’s milk that I got in Singapore.

I promise myself one more day of rest before I continue my work. I know I got tones of email to reply to so if you’re one of them, be patient with me while I get over my holiday mood ok.. ;)

Singapore Hello

As you must know from the lack of update on my blogs and twitter account, that I am away from home and without my laptop Miss Fly no less. I was hoping my G8 phone would be able to let me go online in Singapore but alas I was not able to get it to connect even after entering all the correct information.. so I resorted to plan B which was to try to see if my ever loyal Sony Ericsson K850i phone could the job and you know what.. I’m in love with it again because as of last night I was able to access my Gmail, update twitter and even check facebook.. though of course my online activities are limited because of the limitation of mobile phone surfing and because I’m so used to Qwerty pad and my SE don’t have that :(

However.. I’m still a happy camper as I’m still able to access my email and still be in contact with my clients until I return this weekend :)

In the meantime, am having a fantastic time here shopping (everything here is on sale that if I had a room of my own I would have already have furnished it with modern office furniture .. lol), eating (oopss) and spending time with mommy.

No Miss Fly

A’s been so busy lately that going to get Miss Fly repaired has been postponed each day and so it seems I’ll be going back to Singapore on Monday without her. I was hoping to get her to the shop last Thursday hoping that they just need to replace the motherboard or the computer memory and then collecting her on Friday in time for my trip but alas that didn’t happen as A needed to help Abah with stuff those two days. Sigh..

Like I say the last time, I’m hoping my prepaid internet access can be used on my mobile then at least I can facebook or twitter.  Wish me luck!

Stop Time

I seriously need to get some sleep now but there are still things that I need to do before hitting the sack. Perhaps if I start taking hgh supplements, my aging body might rejuvenate and not need as much rest just like when I was younger. I missed those times that I can party all night and still be fresh as a daisy to go to work the next day.. times when I don’t yawn as much and times when the eyes don’t puffed up for lack of sleep.. sigh.. the price of aging..

Can we please put a stop on time somewhat? lol!

Exercise Noob

All this talk of me trying to lose weight and guess what A did? He downloaded an exercise dvd for me so that I can exercise in the comfort of my own home. How awesome is that? Though seriously, I really need to be disciplined about it, you know like even starting a time table kinda thing so that I will actually see results. The problem? I’ve never exercise religiously before and I don’t know how to start. For example:

Do I exercise before or after meals? I mean i may faint if I exercise on an empty tummy but at the same time I don’t think I should exercise on an full tummy

Do I need to put on proper shoes or can i do it barefoot?

How often should I exercise as a beginner?

etc etc…lol

Help?
