Yeap, you heard me right. My #unifi is down again! I am so over the roof and by the 5th time, I refuse to do anymore troubleshooting with them over the phone and instead ask them to look through my numerous service numbers and just get the problem fixed!
Anyway, I got a new toy this weekend and I am so loving it. I will blog about it when I am in a better mood and when my #unifi connection, hopefully, up again later today. In the meantime, I think I will just do some online window shopping with my loyal Digi prepaid connection and of course my laptop, Miss Fly, without which I couldn’t be tethering… lol.. I spy some nice kelty backpacks from the corner of my eye.. see ya!

Planning to go any supermarket or shopping mall today might not be a good idea especially if you don’t have one of those rfid blocking wallet with you to protect your credit card. Everyone is so preoccupied with shopping, Christmas decoration that you might not even realized someone is stealing your credit card information and doing a little shopping at your expense. My internet connection was driving me nuts this week. It was up one minute and down the next. It was running fine one minute and the next I am stuck with the “Internet not connected” message. I was troubleshooting with the tech people over at Unifi so many times that I pretty much know what to do each time they say.. “Ok, let’s do this first”. I think they are pretty much fed up with my calls as much as I am fed up calling them.
Anyway, it was down again from Sunday, 1am but up again now from 2pm. Last I heard, the technician had four other household experiencing the same problem at my block. So I am really hoping they REALLy found what is wrong and solve the problem once and for all.
This week’s song title really suits me this week.. lol! I am STRONGER! I just love Kelly Clarkson and am loving my theme this week.

I may not have any dslr cameras to shout about but I am loving the latest app that I have downloaded for my HTC Desire HD phone that lets me take moderately great panoramic images just like the one you see below. This is what I get to see each day from my balcony. Awesome right? It is slightly dark as the lighting is off today but on a clear day you can actually see the majestic KLCC tower! Download the image to see the full effect of the picture.

You guys knows what comes after Thanksgiving holiday right? That’s right Black Friday. The most waited for sales of the year when merchants gives ridiculous prices and offers on most of their products. I’ve been receiving tons of offers both as affiliate to promote certain goods and services from fantastic merchants and also as a consumer which makes me itching to bring out my credit card. I’ve been eying some items from the Sterling Leather site, not quite their Dan Post Boots but something else and now anxiously waiting to see if they have any Black Friday offers. Wish me luck!

Grey’s Anatomy Season 8 just took a break after their 9th episode last week and is expected to be back only in January 2012. Avoiding any spoilers I’m just gonna say the last episode had someone very dear to one of the Attending died on the operating room causing Christina much grief. Derek and Meredith didn’t quite get what they want while Avery chose his career first.Sigh..

So.. here I am in Singapore celebrating Aidil Adha with my mom in Singapore. I don’t think mommy is cooking up a storm this Raya but I see some meat defrosting in the kitchen sink and the spice rack is all out so I reckon she will cooking something tomorrow morning before we go on our visiting rounds. I am sure I will wake up to some nice smell tomorrow morning from the kitchen from all those spices that I see on the spice racks. Can’t wait for sure!
I don’t know about you but compared to my mom’s full stocked kitchen spice racks , the one I have at home looks like a play set. I always buy in small quantity enough for one time dish making and so my spice containers are almost always empty or fill with expired goods…lol.. oh well, what do you expect from a two person household right?
Anyway, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends and visitors a “Selamat Hari Raya” and have a blast with your loved ones wherever you are!

Just doing my packing here and am thinking if I should bring something warmer for my coach ride to Singapore later today. Normally my pashmina would suffice but seeing how the weather is changing from hot to extra cold these days, I was thinking I should have gotten one of those CozyWinters.com heated gloves to make sure I won’t be sneezing all through my 5 hours air-conditioned coach ride. It’s midnight and the fur-kids are still having a field day running around in the human room. I’m giving them extra time tonight as I am leaving in the am today and I am so gonna miss them. Good thing we have most wires in raceways as there is a stampede going on out there.. lol!

The crowd turnout wasn’t great but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of whoever was there and most importantly Whitesnake didn’t fail to rock the house down on Sunday, 30th October at the Putra Indoor Stadium, !!!! The six “virgin” boys (as David Coverdale called themselves as it was their first time in Malaysia) belted out favorite tunes like “Is this Love”, “Here We Go Again”, “Still of the night” and “Fool for your Loving” making the crowd go wild, myself included.. lol!
My camera phone couldn’t take any good video that night but I did find this one on youtube. I was so rocking to this song. Can you hear my voice? hehe..
If I wasn’t a fan before I WOULD be a fan now.. yeap they were that GREAT! The energy that was given out on stage, their persona and David’s voice (OMG his voice!!) really makes Whitesnake my all time fav rock band. Doug Alridge on guitar was insanely skilled and awesome, for lack of better words, Orgasmic!…. and Brian Tichy on drums takes drumming on to a whole new level. Aiyayaya.. how I wished I was in Singapore tomorrow for an encore. Listen up Singaporeans… you are in for a TREAT.. get your tickets NOW!

It’s only 12.27am and I’m sleepy. I think I slept through my whole Saturday and yet I feel like I can just put on my pajamas and go to bed right now. Not sure what’s going on but I think it might because of this cold and the fact that CW is here is not helping.

Today is the birthday of the most wonderful woman in my life. My Mommy!
I was planning to go down to Singapore to celebrate with her but since I am already planning a trip back to Singapore for Raya on 6 November, plus with tons of work right now, I guess I will just see her then.

We just got our monthly bill for our credit card and along with the bill, as usual, the bank always include recent pamphlets that contains offers if we were to use the card. Well, one of the offers was for a discounted rate at our dream vacation spot. However, the offer is only valid till December 2011 and seeing how it is raining everywhere in Malaysia, it does not seem like the perfect time to go. After all I don’t think I would be soaking in the private pool if it is was raining or if the weather was cold :(
We are definitely planning a vacation soon, if not this year then early next year. I am seriously in need of some of vacation time. Perhaps I can even get A to rent a rv and get some rv insurance or something and drive down to the east coast once the raining season is over. I heard the drive is awesome!

I’ve always loved the show Giuliana and Bill and truly believe they are such a cute couple. Watching through their struggle to conceive through failed IVF only make them all the more real to me.
On the last episode of their reality show, the couple was all set to go through another session of IVF in Denver and we see both of them all super excited filming how they feel and what they hope will happen after the session. We were then left to wonder if the IVF was a success. I, as I’m sure other fans were, googled to see if indeed she got preggers but since there was no baby bump, I thought it was not to be, yet again.
Then today, I saw a tweet from my timeline and got the shock of my life. Giulina Rancic has cancer!

This week went by in blur. I was on normal people mode, which means I was up around 9am and was out of the house latest by noon. With things to do, errands to run and people to meet, I’m so thankful for ach payments that can be done via the internet at home, beat waiting in line at the bank right?
Anyway, it felt good to be “normal people” for the week and I might just see if I continue the streak though now that my US client is back with more jobs, it’s gonna be challenge staying awake during the day AND at night.

The premiere of Season 5 of Gossip Girl last week was filled with drama over how someone might be preggers. But that is not what this post is about as I’m pretty sure we all pretty much guessed who it was if we saw last season’s finale.
This post, however, is about the gorgeous Elizabeth Hurley who, by the looks of it, have landed a role in the show. She was absolutely stunning and I just love her accent and last heard she is also engaged!
Apparently, on Saturday, both Shane Warne, 41, and Hurley, 46, sent identical Tweets that read: “Thanks for all your congratulations. Here’s a pic of us about to go to Dunhill dinner in St Andrews.”
Wondering what her diamond ring would like like. Well wonder now more.. here it it!
