How to Show Emoji In Chrome

I was reading about abdominal cuts review when I got distracted with all of Mariuca’s emoji talk. Me being me was not satisfied that I wasn’t able to view her much talked about Emoji and so set to find out if there was any way to view it while I am at my desktop.

Since I am using Chrome as my default browser, I went in search for extension or plugins for that and guess what? I found a few.

 

I tried them all and found that all of them are useful except for ChromEmoji.

Basically “Show Me Emoji” would serve as a little keyboard that you can use to pick and choose your emoji so that you can paste them anywhere on the web, like ChromedBird, Facebook and even comment boxes. In my case, ChromedBird, my twitter addon, will not display emoji, so what I do is I copy whatever emoji Mariuca is showing me and paste them on “Show me Emoji” and wala.. I now know what she is talking about.. lol!

“Emoji” and “Emoji for Twitter” will help you view emojis on twitter pages and websites without needing to use the “Show Me Emoji” keyboard.

2011 Earth Hour

I didn’t participate in Earth Hour last year because we were out sourcing out for acer netbooks for a client but this year since we were home, we decided to support this great cause. I mean there was nothing to lose.. In face I saved an hour worth of electricity bill.. lol!

We also took the opportunity to make something romantic out of  it. We had an awesome candlelight dinner.. hahah..The menu wasn’t any special but the ambiance and the company was definitely awesome! Even the kitties enjoyed all the shadow play.. lol!

 

All in all it was a good hour. We will definitely be joining again next year!

Time to Spring Clean

My dressing room aka my guest room is so messy now that sometimes it feels almost like I’m in storeroom. With the bout of illnesses that I’ve been experiencing, I’ve been dumping stuff into that room simply because I don’t have the energy to store them properly. Now that I’m feeling better, I think it’s about time for a spring cleaning and I will definitely start with the shelves first. I don’t even know what I have on there anymore.  I do know know one thing though,  there won’t be any sports trophies up there coz I don’t play sports.. lol!! One thing less to worry about eh?

Gratitude Heart

I mentioned in my other blog how 2011 has so far been a sick year for me. I had my cyst acting up, a terrible bout of diarrhea and just recently stinging pee… and it’s only March! Perhaps I should consider asking Azwaj to take an online nursing degree or something so that he can look after me as a nurse can.. lol!

Honestly though, he had been great throughout my whole down time and I can only offer him gratitude in return and hope that if he does fall sick (touching wood everywhere) I would be be able to take care of him the same way. Hmm.. maybe I should take that online nursing degree as well eh?

Azwaj used to have long hair too.. before we got married that is.. In fact one of the photos that he sent me, while he was wooing me, was a picture of him with long hair.. heheh… I was hooked for sure .. that man knows to push my button, in a good way that is.. hehehe!

Perhaps I can get him to keep his hair again.. lol!

Car Woes

So, Azwaj’s car finally made it to the auto repair shop after being dormant for almost a year. You would think that we needed to send it to Los Angeles auto repair center by the hassle to make the repair happened. The problem that Azwaj had was that his car is a “Citroen” and not many auto repair shop actually have the expertise to repair such a car here in Malaysia. I mean if it were a Japanese car like Honda Civic or Toyota, it would have been easier to locate a repair shop for sure. He could have send it to any shop for that matter but they would have done more damage than good and in the end it would have cost Azwaj a lot more money.

Anyway, I don’t know what actually needed to be replaced or repaired. I just heard strange words and terms like head gasket, absorbers, timing belt, engine oil, radiators and what not. What I do know, however,  is that it cost Azwaj a lot of money.  Sigh…

I Want Lasik Surgery

I think I need to visit my optician soon as I could swear my vision getting worse by the day. These eyes definitely need checking and I bet new prescription glasses are gonna be a necessity. The last time I checked them I was told that I need bifocal lenses as apparently I have short and long sightedness. ..oh no right? Sucks big time!

If only I was a millionaire, I would get Lasik for sure :( Anyone wants to sponsor me?

Till Next Year..

My birthday came and my birthday went and it was an awesome one for sure. We didn’t do anything out of the ordinary but it was special all the same simply because I spent it with Azwaj and the fur-kids. My tummy ache also decided that it had enough of a rumble and behaved enough so that I can once again enjoyed spicy food and dairy products and that of course include our latest crave, the chocolate lava cake from Secret Recipe.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the massive birthday shoutouts from friends and relatives over at  facebook, twitter email and sms. Gratitude goes to Mariuca, Bella, Monica, Bill,  and Ane for such awesome birthday post,  Shemah for the wonderful sms, K.Lin, Ayeesha, Kak Maz and the rest that are too many to mention here. It feels so good to be loved, appreciated and remembered on my special day!

When all I want to do is lie down and shut my eyes hoping the pain will go away.. it is so nice to wake up to a beautiful smile. It makes everything all right again and I can face anything once again…

Dream On

How nice would it be just sit in a bath tub or a spa right now. I could just take the spa covers off and have a nice dip and feel my whole body relaxing after a night of constant running to the toilet. But then again, I might just postpone that thought because one, I don’t have a tub much less a spa and two I might just have an “accident” in there and that won’t be fun for me or Azwaj since he probably need to clean up the mess. Yikes!.. I think I just have a quick shower instead.. lol!

I Love March

It’s the first day of March and this happens to be my favorite month because it is my birthday and my wedding anniversary month! As I looked at my albums of young me and my wedding album, I thought of using some kind of image or document scanning services to help me preserve these precious photograph. After all it will be super awesome to be able to view them on the big screen or just bring them around with me. Beats carrying those heavy album right?
