Not only because it is the last day of Ramadhan, which marks the start of Syawal, it is also the birthday of my BFF, the sensational Mariuca.  I’m sure she will be too busy to celebrate today but what a celebration it will be on Hari Raya day itself. Birthday Cheer for Bella

I can’t remember how I actually got to know Bella.. I reckon it’s was one of those things that was meant to happened. The fact that her mom is also a Singaporean, which makes her half Singaporean, only makes the friendship all the more livelier as she is able to relate to a lot of things that I go through as a Singaporean myself.

Anyway, today is her birthday and although busy as a bee getting ready for the coming Raya, I didn’t want to miss publishing this special blog entry as a birthday shoutout!

Play Non-Stop

Any gamer will tell you that one of our peeve is when we’re so into a game and the equipment’s juice runs out. Like for example, when I’m playing my game “Fashion Store” and actively adding my inventory when all of the sudden I hear this beeping sound warning me that my phone’s battery is running low! In this case I can just hook up my phone to a power point and carrying on playing so no probs. The problem does occur when you are using wireless equipment like the ps3 controllers and the juice runs out. Well now you don’t have to stop playing because you can charge as you play with cables like PS3 Wireless remote charge link that you can plug into the front of your wireless controller and into the USB port of your console. Cool eh?

Fashion Story.. Where I Own My Own Fashion House

I should seriously be working but I guess I can always multitask right? So.. while waiting for my clients to return to me with inputs, I am getting addicted to my own online boutique game call Fashion Story, where I can get experience in owning my own fashion house, just like my fav soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful”.

I have my BFF GP to thank for this game. I saw her updating her facebook status that she was on level 9 of this game and I searched out to see if the game was on Android platform and yeay.. it was! So now I am busy stocking up my boutique with the latest fashion. Too bad they don’t have maternity clothes in their inventory otherwise how cute would it be to see preggers mom on my phone screen..lol!

Anyways.. now I’m neighbours with both GP and Ane and we are having fun, exchanging gifts and visiting each other boutique..lol! If you are playing the game too, add me up. My storm id is ljcreations. See Ya!

Say What? Say What? Say that again? YES!!! WHITESNAKE IS COMING TO MALAYSIA in October!!!!! Yihaa!!

Ok .. ok.. simmer down people.. lol!! Me and Azwaj are soooo going and now that we know we can get the tickets online, it’s just a matter of time before we get two! We’re planning to take advantage of the early bird special and get the PS2 seats at RM258 per person ticket so if anyone else is going let us know and we can make it a date! lol!

Knowledge is Power

I’ve always loved learning new stuff and with the internet these days, that is made so much easier. Anything and everything is just a click away and if you know what to look for, chances are you’ll find it. For most people these days, “Goggling” is a verb and with this newly created verb, the world of learning is at your fingertips at the comfort of your own home.

Having said that,  one day when I have time to spare, I would love to take up Online Courses . Perhaps even get an online degree programs in web designs. I learned everything I know from the web so to get some formal structured education in that field would be simply awesome. I learn and pick up website design knowledge on a  need to know basis so with a structure education, I get to know stuff that I don’t need at the moment but might in the future right?

Anyway, if you are interested to pursue online courses one day and need to check out some colleges, head on to http://studentaid2.ed.gov/gotocollege/collegefinder/advanced_find.asp and find out what they have to offer.

My primary school slogan was “Knowledge is Power” and oh how so true!

Temptations

It’s going into seven days of Ramadhan and the excitement of Hari Raya can surely be felt. Everywhere we go, we see sales announcement on feather flags display and I could already feel my wallet getting lighter.. lol! Seriously though, I don’t normally do much shopping during these times but the lure of all sales are definitely tugging at those resistance..

Massage Game

Azwaj been complaining of shoulder pain and the last time I massage him, I literally feel air pockets at the joint. lol.. it’s like little bubbles popping each time he moves his shoulder.. I tried to massage it away but seriously I don’t know if I did more harm than good. Perhaps the next thing I need to do is to take up massage therapy program online and improve my skill in that area. Hmm.. come to think of it, Azwaj should take it up too.. then we can play the massage game together.. lol!

I love watching the reality show, Giuliana and Bill and I think the song is simply perfect for the show. It’s fun and catchy and I love it most for its lyrics. Our loved ones may be flawed and we can’t love everything about the person but what’s important is that we try to bring out the best in one another. Having said that.. a HUGE shoutout today as it MY AZWAJ’s birthday!!!
