Last year for Earth Hour, me and Azwaj switched off all the power supplies and had a nice candle light dinner. It was kinda nice actually, a romantic dinner for two with only the light coming from the scented candles. This year though we might be over at my father-in-laws place to enjoy his very special oxtail soup for dinner but since FIL loves brightly lit areas, I doubt we will participating this year.

I’ve always loved cycling. In fact when I was still in Singapore, I would put on the suv bike racks, pack up the bikes and head on over to the beach for a leisure cycle on some weekends. However, on one of my rounds, there was another cyclist that came in front of me as I was going down a slope and in order to not hit him, I swerved and hit a tree instead. Needless to say I fell and hurt my knee real bad. I had to to stop wearing my skirts to work for a whole month coz the bandage on my knee looked so awful. Luckily I didn’t sprained or broke anything but that experience really set me back and till now, no more cycling for me till now!
I wonder if I still remember how to cycle.. hmm.

I’ve recently joined Pinterest and it sets me thinking that this is an avenue to bring in traffic to my blogs. I mean I pin a nice picture of my cats and it automatically link to the post. So assuming the picture is cute enough or nice enough, people following me might be prompted to click and visit my blog :)
Then it sets me thinking how I can actually use Pinterest for Business. I mean if you are a graphic designer for instance, you can easily create a portfolio by pinning your own work and linking them to your ecommerce site, your website or even your blog. Age is just another number and I turned 43 today. No big party, no fancy dinner and no scala rider g9 either, since I already got my birthday present in December from Azwaj. However, we did make a pit stop at Secret Recipe to get my favorite Blackforest Cheesecake and a Lava Chocolate cake for Azwaj. Oh and with three new tops from the night before, me, very happy birthday girl :)

Guys sometime have all the luck. Not only does taking Testosterone Boosters increase testosterone, which in turn improve their sexual vitality, it apparently can also naturally increase their testosterone levels and help them build muscle and lose weight as well.
I wonder if there is such product for us women as well. Slim and sexual is the keyword here people.

When I look at all the junk food in my kitchen cabinet, sometimes I wonder why I am complaining so much about my weight gain. After all you are what you eat right and if that sentiment is anything go by, then I am definitely symbolic of all those potato chips, chocolate bars and sweet desserts found in my kitchen cabinet. Sigh..But then again what is a girl to eat in the middle of the night when she’s working on websites and doing her graphics works.. after all she needs the energy.. (excuses..excuses.. lol!)
Anyway, I should buy healthier food to snack on when I visit the grocery store tomorrow. I mean there must be alternatives that can boost energy and satisfy my sweet tooth somewhere out there. Perhaps I should look into organic food as alternatives too. After all if I’m trying to eat healthy, organic food must just do the trick.
Speaking of organic food, did you guys know that there is such a thing as organic clothing? Well, apparently there is and it is not that expensive either as what I can see from the site that I visited. It seems organic clothing are made using products obtained from organic agriculture such as organic cotton, organic wool, organic silk or organic jute and are free from any type of chemicals (such as pesticides), or genetically modified seeds. I have yet to own any clothing made from these products but may very consider it in the future or since I am visiting a friend who has just given birth, organic baby clothes may just be the ideal gift for the new bundle of joy.
Anyway, since health is the topic of the day (or is it night?) I need my sleep now. Have an early day tomorrow and hopefully 4hours of power sleep will be sufficient enough for me to stay awake all day later..

In my younger days, whenever I go for grocery shopping, I would start from the first aisle right up to the last aisle checking out all the new stuff on the shelves. Never one to write out a shopping list, this is not only time consuming (though I enjoyed it) but also a potential hazard to the wallet for sure. That time I was pretty naive in the saving money department and tips to save on groceries shopping was something that fell on deaf years.
Fast forward ten years (or is it 20years later), I am more aware towards the need to save money for rainy days. I am now sporting a shopping list and no more loitering from aisle to aisle especially with Azwaj in tow. Armed with my phone (coz that’s where my shopping list is) and a trolley, both me and Azwaj would straight head to the first item on our list and work our way down the list. Only on rare occasion do we actually check out some new items (probably because we saw the advertisement) on shelves that is not on our list.
I reckon to save more money while grocery shopping, we can actually look into coupons too. Some local supermarket do sometimes send out mailers and even coupons booklets that highlights their promotion items and offers. The only thing with these coupons is that there is possible lure to buy items you don’t need just because they are on offers and/or purchase more because they are offering a fourth item free with three purchases for instance.
Whatever it is, I am definitely more mature and aware in the saving money department. After all when I save money on things I don’t need, I have more to spend money on things that I do need.. lol!

I’m way past my bedtime here in Singapore. If in KL, this is still early, here in Singapore, it is very late for me. I have an early morning appointment tomorrow and I still got to evaluate this new affiliate marketing program that was introduced to me today. I want to make a decision before I leave so it will be off my to do list for my next trip back.
Speaking of todo list, anyone knows a fantastic and good looking android “todo” apps? I am currently using Jorte to sync my calendar and to do list but it’s not that attractive to look at. I would gladly use the default apps that comes with my Galaxy Note but unfortunately the “Todo” list won’t sync to my google account.
