Thirsty and Parched

The weather is so hot nowadays that I am literally feeling dehydrated all the time. It’s not helping that I am stuck at my chair doing coding work that sometimes I forget to drink causing me to lose my voice. Anyway, how awesome would it be if I got one of these galvanized beverage tubs. I could stock up with my favourite drink and put it by my side as I work. That way even A can monitor and top up for me in case I’m too lazy to walk to the kitchen.. lol!

Gianto is Recovering Nicely

Gianto, our cat, had just returned from a trip to the vet for a neutering session. He is recovering nicely and although still slow in his movement and definitely not his usual self, he is eating and already starting to groom himself (which is always a good sign). We have placed him at nice cozy corner in the living room and made a pet bed of the pet basket and he is resting now.

Practicing Patience

It is so hot nowadays that it feels like there is an outdoor firepit on the balcony. I almost fear that I will melt whenever Azwaj offer to pick me up for lunch that I always tell him I’ve already eaten.. lol!

Now would be the perfect time for that private pool vacation I’ve mentioned before but alas it can only happen after my surgery so I am practicing patience for now and hope that by the time we are ready to go on that dream vacation, the weather will co-operate.

Azwaj New Gadget

Azwaj is looking for a new amplifier. He has a few brands in mind that he likes but has yet to decide which one he will purchase. He is still comparing features and specifications and watching youtube channel for videos on how the amplifier sounds. Among the brands that he is considering are Engl, Yamaha and Fender.

New gadgets always excite me so I am excited to see which one will finally win Azwaj’s heart.. lol!

Different Time Zone

I have said it once and I will say it again. I love the internet world. With internet connectivity, I am not only able to secure clients all over the world, I can  even  attend corporate meetings with the use of conferencing services facilities. It’s like I am in-house when in fact I am thousand of miles away and in a different time zone!

Simply awesome!

Maybank waived my RM0.09

I totally forgot about this post which was on draft. So I thought I just publish it now to close the case.

Anyway, after my twitter session with the people over at Maybank (three weeks after they didn’t reply to my initial email and after a dedicated Maybank post ), they suggested that I send a copy of the original email to a specific email address and promise that there will be an official follow up.

Within one week I am happy to say that I received an official email from their Customers’ Feedback Management stating that the RM0.09 have been waived with effect from the date of the email.

 

So thank you Maybank though I have to say that I shouldn’t have needed to go through all this channel to get this done.

What Phone to Buy

I am in the market for my new mobile phone. My very loved Sony Ericcson phone that I’ve been using for over three years now is starting to show signs of aging. Sometimes it hangs and and screen just freezes and the only way to get out of that situation is to restart the phone. It is really inconvenient since most time when I do use the phone I am travelling.

Since a lot of my friends are using the iPhone, I’ve been looking at some unlocked iphones just to see if there is something in the phone I might like there. I mean it is such a popular phone (everyone seems to have one) that I can’t help but wonder how much feature is packed into it and if it really the better choice and value for money.

At the moment,  however, I am leaning towards either a phone with two SIMS card that can run simultaneously (like the old phone I have)  or more likely towards another cheaper and economical android phone can supports hot-spot feature and teetering. This new phone would be for my Singapore mobile number and since it will like a “modem” for my laptap as well when I am in Singapore, I think internet connectivity is key.

Anyhow it’s another day and still no call from hospital (yeay)… though my cyst is acting up I think because I am experiencing pain these past few days. Not sure what is happening. Just hope it’s not twisted or rupture as the doctor fear.

Be My Neighbour On Cityville

I love playing Cityville, a game apps on Facebook. However since I also work, I got to discpline myself to not spend every waking hour planning my city… lol.. So sometimes I am tempted to just buy the package that they offer to get my “building permits” and some “building” items FAST! I mean I got stadium to builds, islands to finish and landmarks to erect!

I wonder if there is a discount coupon code that I can use to get them cheap.. hahah.. I want to build fast but I don’t want to spend too much money there.

Something happened today that really made Azwaj a superhero. So I thought that these song is so apt for such an incident.

Anyway, who doesn’t need a hero right? Some strong man to hold you in his arms while you are in some sort of womens lingerie and sweep you off your feet as the both of you ride into the sunset.. lol! Yeah yeah.. fantasies.. a woman is entitled..lol!
