I can’t believe my last post was also a Music Monday post. I’ve been so busy with work that I didn’t realized that Monday had come yet again. I’ve also been remissed in visiting my fellow Music Monday participants for the last two weeks and for that I apologised. I try to visit everyone as host to Music Monday but alas I am only human too and time management escapes me sometimes.. lol..

Anyway, here’s a fantastic song that I heard a while back and wanted to share with you. I can’t help but hum this song all the time. I bet if I play the guitar and had one of those fantastic gibson melody maker I will surely not only sing it but play the tune all the time too..

John Cena is NOT Dead

I was scrolling down my facebook timeline when I saw a shocking status from a friend of mine. It says “World renowned wrestler John Cena has died as a result of a head injury suffered while attempting a stunt with Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock”.  I’ve always enjoyed wrestling and Jhon Cena is one awesome wrestler. Of course I immediately Googled to see if the news was true (and finding some awesome adidas wrestling shoes along the way” but apparently the news was a hoax. So… John Cena is NOT dead people.

This kind of fake rumors are not uncommon in the celebrity world, however, the one (circulated in Facebook) had a link which lead to a Facebook app. Who knows what awaits the unsuspecting social media customers who were eager to find out more about the news. I actually clicked on the link myself but seeing it was an apps, I quickly exit and look for other way to verify the news.

Did anyone install the Facebook app? What happened?

A Different Kind of Boomerang

Since I’ve been married to Azwaj, I am learning all sorts of musical products. I’m not just referring to the equipment like guitars, bass, drums and keyboards that primarily make up the basic band but I am also learning about the “behind the scene” equipments like the boomerang phrase sampler for instance. According to Azwaj, with this equipment he can go up on stage and make it sound like there are at least two other players alongside with him. Awesome eh? Check out the video below to know more. I learnt something new today.. yeay!

Get the Right Seat In An Airplane

I used to travel a lot from Singapore to Malaysia and it came to a point where I can let the guys at the check-in counter know what number seat I want on the plane so that I can enjoy my flight.  However since most people don’t, here’s a quick guide to make your flight a more comfortable one.

Pictures for the Wall

We were cleaning the home store and came across some nice pictures of my late mother-in-law with Azwaj. Since we have a nice big wall space in the living room, we think it will nice to put screw in some eye bolt and hang those pictures up. We miss Mama and to have her pictures around will be nice for sure.

Switching Coffee

One of the things that I love is having my three in one coffee. It is simple (you just have to add hot water) and it is delicious. However it is not very good for the health and although I know that very well, I can’t seem to shake off the habit. It’s bad, yes, but it is oh so good.. lol!

Anyway, perhaps switching to good old brewed coffee is the way to go for me. I can even have some best decaf coffee from the supermarket and use brown sugar or sugar substitute with low fat milk instead. That is definitely healthier but takes oh so much effort.. So.. we’ll see..lol!
