Rane DJ Mixers

I don’t know much about any excellent Rane dj mixers but I heard they are pretty awesome. The Sixty-Eight is the first Scratch Live compatible DJ mixer that allows two computers to be connected simultaneously meaning there is support for two DJs at once. DJ handover is also easy thanks to its two USB ports. So you aspiring DJs out there, make sure you check out this equipment ok!

Life as a Paw Parent

I’ve always love to have carpet in my home. I think it adds a warmness to a room and adds character to plain flooring. I don’t even mind that we have to do upholstery cleaning every other year to keep the carpets clean and fluffy. However since we are paw parents to nine (yeap at last count) furkids, it has become impossible to have carpets in the living room. I mean I don’t mind the vacumming and all since vacumming happens to be one of my fav chores, but it’s the vomitting or the peeing that I can’t handle. Yeap kitties sometimes misbehave for whatever reasons and sometimes they do pee on on places that they are not supposed to like the carpets for instance.

Pet pee is one of the most difficult things to clean and even if you get the smell out, cats have very sharp sense of smell and because of that they may still pee on the same spot and even “invite” to join them. Sounds weird right? But it happens!

So we have resigned to the fact that we will never have permanent carpet in the living room and that we just have to stare at the marble flooring day in and day out. .. boring… lol!  However,  we do have some (carpet) on standby just in case we are entertaining and during which the kitties stay in their kitty room. When that happens, I just smile and enjoy my carpets as much as possible during that few hours before it goes back into storage.

Oh well.. the sacrifices you make for the ones you love..lol!

Listen to a Book for Free

You know how sometimes you just want to rest your eyes but not your mind and you wished you had someone read to you? Well I just found a solution. I found a site that enables me to download free audiobooks and when I just want to relax my eyes but still read something, I just play one.. problem solved!

I Love This Foldable Hanger

I saw this foldable hanger at a local store in Singapore and its price was only SGD7.99. Cheap and good for apartment living for sure. So I told mom about it and she immediately wanted one.. Just as well coz there was only one left! Anyway, don’t you think it’s just awesome. I mean I’ve ever seen the normal round ones that typically people use for underwear but this one made for anything you can hang. I love it!

Keep Your HeadPhones Untangled

I don’t know about you but I always have problem untangling my headphone. I mean I keep it nicely rolled up but each time I want to use it, it will drive me nuts trying to get it loose every time. Sometimes I feel like I can lose my mind and should be admitted to some residential treatment centers .. lol!

Anyway, when I saw this on facebook, I knew I had to try it out and guess what.. it worked. Now my headphones are nice and neat and don’t cause me to pull hair when I want to put in… yeay!

All Better

I’ve been sick ever since I got back from Singapore and after a week of being sick and getting Azwaj infected with the bug  too, I think the flu germs are almost leaving us both. If normally you don’t see Azwaj going to the clinic to get meds, this time around he volunteered to see the doctor to get some antibiotics.

We have both completed our rounds of fever, cold, cough and antibiotics meds and you don’t see us bundled up like we were living in the north pole anymore and also no more dragging our feet in our open toe house slippers. In fact, I had dumped both our sweaters in the washing machine for washing. Was thinking of using hot water to kill the germs but then again not sure if the machine support hot water.

Anyway, while we both out, the kitties didn’t leave the kitty room at ALL. They were meowing away, of course, but we didn’t want to risk spreading the germs to them and getting them sick along with us. So you can just imagine their joy when they were let out yesterday and both me and Azwaj decided to just hang around with them in front of the tv last night. It was like they have not seen us in years.. lol!

It feels good to be healthy again and each time I fall sick, I thank God for the making me well again. We, Muslim, believe that sickness is an expiation of sin and what a great way it is to start the new year!

Happy 2013

Before this post get really outdated, I just wanted to wish all my readers a very Happy New Year. I’ve been out of commissioned since New Year Eve with a very bad flu that saw me going through numerous tissue box in a matter of hours. Azwaj was taking care of me and all was find and dandy until he got the bug and there we were two very sick people with no one to care for us.. boohhoo..

Anyway, times like this really wished mommy was around to cook us hearty cold stone creamery nutrition meals so that we can be better soon but since she’s not, we both resorted to just ordering in whatever that deliver to the house.

I am feeling much better today hence the post but Azwaj is still down. Anyway!! Happy New Year all!
