I know it’s not Music Monday today but seeing how next Monday is already Hari Raya, I thought I just post this today and wish all my fellow Muslimin “SELAMAT HARI RAYA and MAAF ZAHIR BATIN”

Azwaj shared with me this video yesterday and I simply loved it. It’s the cover version of “Selamat Hari Raya” sang by Elizabeth Tan with a Ukulele as an accompaniment (wonder if it was bought from guitar center). Take a listen and see if you like this version too.

We are all shocked and sadden by the news of MH17 that was shot down on 17 July 2014. So many deaths and so unnecessary. So many grieving the loss of the loved ones and the only words that we can offer is “I’m sorry for your loss” and share in the grief with them.

Too Fast

Can you believe we are now into second half of the year. Where on earth did the time go to? I could have sworn I woke up on Monday and the next thing I know it’s Friday. Seriously this is no laughing matter. I need time to go more slowly. I mean before we know it, it’s time to check out the department 56 christmas in the city store for all those Christmas things once again!
