Age is just another number and I turned 43 today. No big party, no fancy dinner and no scala rider g9 either, since I already got my birthday present in December from Azwaj. However, we did make a pit stop at Secret Recipe to get my favorite Blackforest Cheesecake and a Lava Chocolate cake for Azwaj. Oh and with three new tops from the night before, me, very happy birthday girl :)

Today is the birthday of the most wonderful woman in my life. My Mommy!
I was planning to go down to Singapore to celebrate with her but since I am already planning a trip back to Singapore for Raya on 6 November, plus with tons of work right now, I guess I will just see her then.
Today is also the birthday of another special and talented woman, my blogger friend, Emila Yusof. Emila is one of the most kind hearted and generous person I have ever met.

It’s the fourth day of Raya here and things are slowing down here in our household. We’ve eaten the last of our Raya dishes and mommy is gonna cook “regular” dishes from tomorrow onwards. We’ve even thawed some fish and squid to tomorrow’s lunch. I’m also starting to go through all my work emails to start working on the urgent stuff while A is checking out rims for cars, not for him but for a relative we met while on our Raya rounds.
Sigh.. back to work people!

I love watching the reality show, Giuliana and Bill and I think the song is simply perfect for the show. It’s fun and catchy and I love it most for its lyrics. Our loved ones may be flawed and we can’t love everything about the person but what’s important is that we try to bring out the best in one another. Having said that.. a HUGE shoutout today as it MY AZWAJ’s birthday!!!

My birthday came and my birthday went and it was an awesome one for sure. We didn’t do anything out of the ordinary but it was special all the same simply because I spent it with Azwaj and the fur-kids. My tummy ache also decided that it had enough of a rumble and behaved enough so that I can once again enjoyed spicy food and dairy products and that of course include our latest crave, the chocolate lava cake from Secret Recipe.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the massive birthday shoutouts from friends and relatives over at  facebook, twitter email and sms. Gratitude goes to Mariuca, Bella, Monica, Bill,  and Ane for such awesome birthday post,  Shemah for the wonderful sms, K.Lin, Ayeesha, Kak Maz and the rest that are too many to mention here. It feels so good to be loved, appreciated and remembered on my special day!

Today is the birthday of one of the best Virgo-an I I know.. and she is no other than my BFF, Mariuca or as I fondly call her GP. Seems like only yesterday we got to know each other and yak through the night as night owls do and suddenly it’s three years already! My oh my.. time do fly by when you’re in great company :)

It’s my Abah’s (father-in-law) birthday’s today and it would be his first birthday without mama. We will probably spend today with him just so he won’t feel too lonely. We have not gotten him anything yet but what do you give a man who has everything and want for nothing. I mean a personalized footballs would be great for someone who is huge football fan but he ain’t one and as far as I know he does not play any sports now. Hmm..time to put on the thinking cap.

It’s my birthday today people and I want to thank all my friends and relatives: offline, online, overseas and local who had sent me messages via text, facebook messages, ecards and blog entries.. It’s a great feeling to be loved and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

Another year has passed and it’s time once again for my beautiful, sweet, vivacious Virgo friend, GP, to celebrate another wonderful birthday.

Today is the birthday of someone really sweet that I found on the internet. We’ve gotten closer when she discovered Twitter and her recent move to KL. And then of course with the newly formed internet provider Wimax, we’ve even nicknamed her Tumbler Girl because she was “chopping” everywhere for the First Commenter Club position with her loyal water tumbler next to her! LOL!
