Happy April

The first of the month is always great to make changes and with that here comes some changes at LadyJava’s Lounge.

• Random Header Change

I did up two headers that I absolutely love and couldn’t decide on which one to use. So I looked up a code for random headers and now this blog is sporting two different headers at some random intervals. I think that is super awesome and I will probably add two or even three more in the future just to keep this blog looking fresh and new.

 

• Pull Out Tab

I have a pull out tab by the side. I initially thought I wanted to place a shoutout box there but then changed my mind and instead I will place stuff that I want to feature for the moment. For now it is showing a movie trailer. In the future, it might show some video that I love or even some contest that I’m promoting so stay tune ya.

Brand New Header for LadyJava's Lounge

In case you have not already noticed, LJL is spotting a new header since yesterday. I got bored of the old header and wanted something sexier to match my other blog over at LadyJava’s Life’s Pages…lol.. I may not be sexy in real life but my header sure can.. :twisted:

I really owe Bill the greatest apology.

I was really pressed for time, trying to finished off Jackie’s blog makeover and finishing up a newsletter and some banners for my client. Blog Makeover: 54 - The Painted Veil **

Jackie aka Shinade already has a lovely blog but we all crave for changes sometimes and change is always good.. She approached me about a week ago for a blog makeover but as I still had some backlog I couldn’t take up the job immediately.

Jackie wanted a fast loading template with several columns as a footer and with the beautiful header that she did and with a little tweaking from yours truly, we came up with this lovely and exquisite creation :)

Blog Makeover : Carrie's Romance Tips and Products **

I managed to get a blog makeover done today in the midst packing for my Singapore trip. It’s for Carrie, a repeat client, who has just opened up another blog titled Carrie’s Romance Tips and Products. March is a month of MANY MANY MATTERS! :)

Check out D'Luxe Designs New Look

Phew!.. Another makeover done before I leave for Singapore tomorrow. This time for Daria over at the D’Luxe Designs Blog. She creates the most beautiful and luxuriously handcrafted jewelry and gifts that I’ve seen so far and now she has a brand new look for her blog :) So check out her new look won’t ya!

Ok, now that’s done, I can go back and enjoy Singapore with my mommy. However if anyone else want a makeover, contat me ya, I have my eyes on this beautiful Clarks shoes for my birthday :)

A New Header for LJL

First thing first!!! I didn’t win the BlogNet award but am thrilled that my BFF, Mariuca did!!! Congrats dearie!!! You truly deserve it!!!

Now, as you can see I am already bored of my 3mth old header and decided to go with a new header for February!! This time it’s more personal, just me on my lounger with my laptop and of course, coffee (though I am trying to slow down on that). And, since it’s Valentine month and all, I have some chocolates on the table at the corner there for my visitors and of course another cup of coffee for you to enjoy with me while we yak the time away at LadyJava’s Lounge. No wine of the month unfortunately as this lounge does not serve alcohol ;)

So help yourself won’t you!.LOL

The Wall of Pee and Grandy Gets a Tweak Job

It rained suddenly tonight as Azwaj and myself were having dinner at our usual joint. The place is very close to both Azwaj’s office and our home but since we didn’t want to get wet on the motorbike, we decided to just wait the rain out.

From where we sit we can see the parking lot easily and as Azwaj wanted to see if his partner would come tonight, we were actively sneaking looks at that area. At around 10pm (the supermarket had just closed, so the parking lot was empty) I saw this man exited his car and head towards a lane that Azwaj and I used on several occasions to the stall that we were eating at. It’s small lane formed by one of the supermarket’s wall and some flower beds. Anyway, he went straight with purpose to the wall and faced it. I was like “hmm”.. and asked Azwaj if he see what I saw.

Me: Hey do you think he’s peeing on that wall?

Azwaj: No way!! His hands are both on his waist. No way he can pee like that, without holding his organ.

Me: You sure? Coz what else can he be doing facing the wall like that in the middle of the night?

Azwaj: Hmmm

And then.. we saw the man correcting his stand and his pants and it seemed what he did was he placed his pants on his bum in a way so that he did not have to hold his organ while he peed. Wah.. such an expert!

Needless to say, we won’t be using that lane anymore!
