You know how sometimes how that pain that should not be there just exist one morning and although it is tolerable you start to think, what if it becomes permanent? Then you start feeling more pain and then before you realised it, it’s been a week since you got pain? Well that is what I am experiencing right now. I got this pain on the back of left knee and although it only hurts when I get back from sitting crossed leg on the floor, I am getting more obsessed about making it go away. I read that magnetic bracelet might help and after looking at some online I am absolutely in love with this one magnetic healing bracelets here. It is not like the other I found which looks really blah. This one is unique for sure. Sooo getting one soon.

exerciseAfter my last weighing machine encounter, I decided that I need to take drastic action to lose whatever excess flesh, fat and anything that does not belong in this body.. (serious note.. no lol-ing).

I told A that from this day forward, I will take the stairs if I am not carrying anything and I NEED to start going the gym downstairs like yesterday already! I also told A that maybe we should get bicycles and ride them whenever we go out for dinner (more confident at night since there’s not much vehicle that time and what better way to burn off those calories that was taken in during dinner right). We could even get those car bike rack and bring the bike over to some nice beach and “ride into the sunset”..

I need to lose weight and I need to lose weight NOW! ..

I found this cute little app from the Google play and installed it to see how stressful I am. It is really simple to use. You just click on the start button and place your hand over the camera and within 2minutes you’ll get your reading.

So far the reading is pretty accurate for me coz I am pretty stressed right now running to the toilet every 5minutes :(

You can get the app here from Google play and here from itune. Have fun!

dead sea saltI’ve always been lucky in the skin department. I don’t break out in rashes or scar easily and my skin is more tolerant to dirt and dust and is hardly sensitive at all. However, not everyone is lucky in that sense. Some people have skin problem like eczema and psoriasis and because there is no cure for these conditions, they have go through treatment all their lives.

For some, however, relieve comes from an ancient cure in the form of dead sea salt, Want to learn more? Just click on the video below :)

I am looking at my calendar right now and going OMG!!… I have to much to do before my surgery in June but at the same time I can’t overwork myself coz I don’t want to get sick before then, risking the surgery to be pushed back. Good thing I don’t break out so easily so I don’t  have to worry about things like accutane side effects or anything.

Keeping it cool here people but it ain’t easy..

stock-vector-couple-woman-with-cold-31997614This is the household of sick people. Yeap, you can see it by the look of the full double bowl sinks that is filled with unwashed plates from yesterday’s dinner and the messiness of the household in general. Yeap.. I repeat, this is the household of sick people.. so stay away…lol..

The flu has strike both me and Azwaj. He got it first with coughing and the likes and seeing how this is a sick year so far me, naturally I got it too :(

It started with a mild headache and cold for me and it graduated to a full fever and sore throat. Though much better than when it first struck, the both of us are still very much sniffling and coughing in each other’s face.. hahahahha…

I just hope the kitties won’t get it :(

girl-in-bathtubHow nice would it be just sit in a bath tub or a spa right now. I could just take the spa covers off and have a nice dip and feel my whole body relaxing after a night of constant running to the toilet. But then again, I might just postpone that thought because one, I don’t have a tub much less a spa and two I might just have an “accident” in there and that won’t be fun for me or Azwaj since he probably need to clean up the mess. Yikes!.. I think I just have a quick shower instead.. lol!

Have a great Sunday all!

As I get older, I’m seeing things that I’ve never seen before on my face, my body and my legs. On my face I’m seeing black spots from a pimple that can’t decide whether it wanted to go full bloom or not. In the end, it didn’t ‘burst’ out but left an ugly black spot in it’s place. Till now still trying to find a way to get rid of it. On my body, I’m seeing, well.. fat.. and believe me it’s still something I’m trying to get use to seeing. Then on my legs, I’m seeing these fine lines that looks like varicose veins but because I can’t feel them, I now know it’s called spider veins instead. Yeap.. sound comical right, but it’s true.

Angelicare Spider Vein Treatment System

Angelicare Spider Vein Treatment System

Now, mind you, I’m not vain (well ok perhaps a little vain…lol), but anything that can improve the way I look I say, bring it on. That is why I was thrilled when I got these free giveaway from Angelicare , their Spider Vein Treatment System. Just looking at the box, makes me excited. The box contains an Angelicare Skin Stimulator and  two bottles of their Angelicare Ultra Nutricreme which is specially formulated to re-building  the dermal and epidermal layers of the skin.

I’ve been using it  for about three weeks now, daily, three times a day and I used the creme sparingly as recommended and I’m definitely seeing improvement. Since my condition was not that serious, I can safely say, the veins are all gone now, leaving behind smooth and supple skin in it’s place.. and guess what.. since I had the massager on, I used that opportunity to massage my cellulite areas too ! Killed two birds with one stone, as they say..

I’m definitely a happy camper and give this a product a thumbs up. So try getting rid of your spider veins with the Angelicare Spider Vein Treatment System. They even offer money back satisfaction within 60 days if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. What are you waiting for? You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

It’s been 4 years now since my permanent residence application and the last time I heard from the immigration department was when I called in 2008 and they told me to call in 2years time! It utterly rendered me speechless!

So I decided to call them today and though they didn’t tell me to call back in another two years, they asked me a lot of questions on how long I’ve applied etc,  and at the end of the conversation, the officer told me to check online instead to see the status of my application. I immediately went to their site which has terrible navigation. I think it would be easier to apply for insurance for business in Hawaii! After locating the link and entering my reference number, I was once again utterly speechless. Suffice to say, I’m still waiting :(

Sometimes I wish I don’t care but I do. Why? Well, because firstly, I like to feel that I somehow belong in this country I call home. Secondly, as I get older and probably my medical need would increase, I need that blue identification card to get “resident” fee as and when I need medical care. I mean, if I was working here in Malaysia right now, I wouldn’t even qualify for the company’s rates for group health or these providers of group health would probably charge the company a hand and a foot to get me included, simply because I have a Singapore identification card.

As for my Singapore “Medisave” account, though I have funds there, I can only use it if I was hospitalized in Singapore hospitalized. Sucks? You betcha!

People get all sort of diseases nowadays. Some diseases are as common as the flu, some are unheard off and some are just pure mystery. Some diseases are contributed by our lifestyle, the way we live our lives. Some are work related that if you are contract it you can actually hire say a Mesothelioma lawyer to help you get the right compensation from your employer.

On my recent trip to Singapore, I just discovered two such diseases. One of them is really weird in that this person got to go to the hospital every other week to get rid of her blood. You heard me, get rid of her blood.

Why? Because it seems she has a a blood disease that causes overactive production of blood but since the blood is too thick, which potentially can cause blood clot and stroke, she can’t donate it. So every other week she visits the hospital, go through the motion of a blood donor but her blood gets thrown out. After further research, I found out this disease is called Polycythemia Vera. People suffering from this disease are supposed to avoid anything that helps with the production of blood and stay away from food with high iron content.

Do you know of anyone suffering from this disease?

Per my previous post, you know I was looking for health insurance quotes. Well, I came across Blue Cross Blue Shield NC. I’m really impressed by the policies they have there. They have so many to choose from and they even have Dental Insurance, where you can just go to any dentist you choose and coverage include routine check-ups, diagnostic or preventive services, from teeth cleaning to extractions to even dentures!Too bad they are not available here in Malaysia, otherwise they’ll be on my shortlist for sure!

Mama was discharged yesterday from the Damai Service Hospital.

They removed the monitoring system and the urine bag the night before and left the feeding tube as Mama is still unable to swallow food. The doctor is still prescribing her steroids as she is still very weak and hopes that with the steroids in place keeping her strong this weekend, we can pull out the feeding tube by Monday or Tuesday.

It was so disheartening to watch her yesterday. Although the doctors had said her tumor and cancer were gone, she is still so weak and unable to do the things that she was able to do a week ago. I also can’t bear to see the feeding tube sticking out from out of her nostril but it’s the best solution for her right now to keep her stomach full and her body strong.

We are at home now doing laundry and stuff today as the sisters are home with Abah. We will visit her today to see how her condition is just as soon as I check out the relacore reviews I’ve bookmarked yesterday ;)

Happy Sunday everyone!

I’ve never been one to eat when I’m stressed. In fact I do a complete turnaround which means I won’t have appetite to eat at all and sometimes I would even go on days when I don’t eat at all. However, since I’ve aged (lol) I’ve found that I start to eat when I’m feeling upset or stressed and I’m not talking about small portion kind of eating, I’m talking about a loaf of bread kind of thing.. yikes!

So.. I’m thinking if I can’t control my eating then perhaps I should go for thermogenic fat burners because it increases my metabolic rate, which I swear has gone down the drain with aging as well, and can help to burn more calories every day!

That way.. I can still eat but lose the calories.. hehehe… what do you think?

I have never diet in my life and probably don’t even know how or where to start. I heard of people taking diet pills and end up losing their liver in their process and so I get scared to even consider that for fear of the side effects of diet pills.

However, what I do know now is that my metabolic rate is dropping and though I’m still within the accepted weight range for my height, I need to take care of my food intake and start to exercise to make sure I remain healthy and fit for the rest of my life(how ever long that is..lol!)

Sigh… do I eat only veggies when I diet? I hate veggies!! :(

I was on the phone earlier today with my SIL and still very much on the topic of dieting, detoxing and weight gain in general, we discussed some of the alli reviews we read online recently. It seems by taking Alli, we can lose 50% more weight than just dieting and exercise alone. Of course the review mentioned that we have to cut down on our food intake as well.

Hmm.. I guess the bottomline is always the food intake and the exercise eh? Is there no way to work around that one? Lol!

ughIs it really Thursday already?

Wowee! Time sure flies when you’re taking care of the ill. Speaking of which, as I mentioned in my other blog, I think I’m really in need of detoxifying. I’ve been feeling so bloated and burping all the time that I have a feeling I’m suffering from indigestion or something. However before I get on my detox program, I need to go get me my supply of all natural colon cleansers. Luckily the store that sells the particular brand that I use just opened here in my area so there is no need for me to travel all the way to Maluri! Yeay!

In the meantime, I need to get some sleep now. Been up since noon and the hunger pangs are starting to strike again. Yikese!

I was reading this article online the other day about how drinking tea could possibly prevent you from getting Parkinson disease. I’ve always loved tea and I guess this reason is an excuse to return to old habits. I was never always a coffee addict you know. In fact I never really liked the bitter taste until they start adding mocha, and whipped cream and what not into their coffee.. heheh..

Anyway, after reading the article, I am more determined than ever to cut down on my coffee intake. So, put on your lovely gowns and get your partner to dress in tuxedos and pretend you’re attending a lovely English tea party hosted by yours truly, with scones and sweets and pastries and drink that tea!

Not sure why but I am always hungry nowadays. Just a few days ago, we had a late lunch and after that I walked back home because Azwaj had to go somewhere. The lunch is like so closeby to our apartments so definitely no problems walking. I had to stop by the grocery shop to go get soap and some snacks to munch on. Can you believe that as I was walking home, I could hear my stomach growling and by the time I reached home, I was hungry again, literally starving. I had to make myself a bowl of instant noodle!

At this rate, I definitely need Decaslim as a diet solution. Oh help!!! I’m munching on a bar of chocolate now!!!

As I mentioned in my other blog, Life’s Pages, I’m not feeling a hundred percent. I woke up at midnight today thinking that I had Plantar Fasciitis ( painful foot condition in the heel and arch area) as each step I took to get off my bed was pure torture. It was only after I had my cup of coffee that everything seemed to be ok again. Now though, my head feels like a thousand brick is on it and all I want to do is sleep.

That being said, I do have a hundred more cards to drop so see you later peeps!
