No matter how satisfied you are with your personal or professional life, there will almost always come a period of time in which you feel that it’s time to grow. Whether you define success in terms of financial increase, personal development, or optimized health, there are always strategies you can implement to lead a more productive, positive life. Below you’ll find just three of many simple strategies you can implement to lead a more successful life:

1. Develop A Business.

One great way to lead a more successful life is by pursuing financial freedom. Even if you love your traditional 9-5 work life, having a side job is a great way to generate more revenue and provide yourself with more vocational options in the event that something happens. With this idea in mind, consider the value of developing your own business. This could include anything from a franchise to a blog to network marketing. If you’re in need of supplies like tape, companies such as Continental Tape Printers can assist you. Learn more about this company by reviewing their website at http://www.continentalpackaging.com/.

2. Implement A Beauty Routine.

As many life coaches know, developing systems and rituals is a wonderful, highly effective way to improve any given aspect of your life. This includes your beauty life. As such, it’s a good idea to develop a beauty routine which helps you feel confident about the skin that you’re in. Rituals like a monthly facial, weekly pedicure, and/or a bi-weekly massage can help keep your physical body in optimal condition. The end result will be a boost in self-esteem and more confidence when you interface with other people in your personal and professional life.

3. Join A Meetup Group.

While many people think of self-improvement when they contemplate how to grow as a person, it’s important to know that other individuals will oftentimes play an integral role in making you a better, brighter being. As such, it’s a good idea to get out and meet new people periodically. You can accomplish this objective by joining a Meetup group comprised of individuals whose hobbies and values are similar to your own. The people you meet can contribute to optimizing your level of success in many ways, one of which is by linking you to job opportunities!

Don’t Delay: Work Towards Success Today!

If you’re ready for optimized success in life, now is the time to get the process underway. Use the strategies outlined above to start making progress in your life immediately!

Running a bakery can be a good deal of fun, but it’s also hard, tiring work. You’re constantly battling the heat and exhaustion as you keep up with orders and strive to come up with fresh ideas. To make matters worse, the demanding conditions in your kitchen are also taking a toll on your fixtures. Flour drifts through the air, humidity makes dirt more likely to stick to every surface, and moving fixtures around can damage your floor. Fortunately, there are some steps you can take to keep your kitchen clean and inviting while making your day a little easier.

Quality Degreasers
You simply cannot keep your bakery or kitchen sparking clean without a quality degreaser. You can use food-safe cleaners on your counters and racks to keep all of it free from grease and other contaminants. You should be able to spray it on, let it sit for ten minutes, and then wipe it off. Do this at the end of your workday so that you’ll be ready for baking the next morning.

Develop a Cleaning Rotation
You’re going to have to scrub down the storage shelves at some point to avoid dirt and problems with the health department. Develop a schedule for cleaning these peripheral areas so that you won’t miss a single space. Ideally, you should have all shelves and walls wiped down at least once a week to stop greasy buildup and keep everything squeaky clean.

Easy Storage Options
When choosing storage options for your dry goods and other items, remember that you’re going to move them frequently. Ideally, you should have packages that can be stacked for easier cleaning. You’ll also want to be able to wash any reusable storage vessels, so look for glass and plastics that are dishwasher safe and can withstand high temperatures.

Put it on Rollers
Moveable fixtures should be put on specially designed bakery casters. These casters stand out from the generic grocery store options because they can handle the higher temperatures found in most kitchens. Add them to bakers rack and work surfaces so that you can easily move these items closer to your sink when it’s time to scrub them down and wash the floor beneath.

As a bakery owner, you know how important it is to keep the space clean. However, following through with the scrubbing can be a little harder. Hopefully these tips will make it easier and allow you to keep your bakery ready for any health department inspection.

As summer arrives, you might begin thinking about where to take the family for a vacation. Companies that include Broken Bow Cabins offer quiet retreats so that you can enjoy the fresh air outside while having plenty of room inside a cabin compared to the one room that you would find at a hotel. Before your vacation, there are a few things to keep in mind so that you are prepared for your trip, allowing you to relax while away from home.

The first thing that you need to do is decide on the exact location of where you want to visit. Look at the cabins in the area to see if they are near mountains or if they are in an open space. The terrain can have an effect on the temperatures during the day and in the evening. If there are more trees or the cabin is at a higher elevation, you might find that it’s cooler. Once you know of the location, then you need to try to send in a deposit for the time you want to visit so that no one else reserves the cabin.

Talk to your employer to get the time off for your vacation. You won’t be able to enjoy your cabin rental if you are concerned about your job and the work that you have waiting on you when you get back home. Think about the transportation that you will use to get to the cabin. If it’s a long way from your home, then you might want to consider a flight instead of driving. However, if it’s within a reasonable distance, then you might want to consider driving so that you can enjoy the views of the area. Most cabins are in locations where you can see the beautiful sights of nature instead of the buildings and cars that are in the city. Find out what activities are available near the cabin. You can usually find a creek nearby, or you can simply play outside with the family as most cabins have a large lawn in the front or back of the home.

Do you love to paint pictures as a hobby to let your creative juices flow? Are you a professional artist who depends on selling paintings to support yourself. If you answered in the affirmative to either of these questions, you need to make sure that you only buy the finest quality art supplies. Of course, the type of canvas you decide to use will be a major consideration. Although many people do not realize it, the look of a painting can be dramatically altered by the the type of canvas it is painted on. In other words, all canvases are not created equal. Here is how to find a good artist canvas.

Ask some of your fellow artists

If you know other people who love to paint, they would be a great resource as you begin your search to find a place to buy good canvases at reasonable prices. Talk to your fellow artists and ask them where they buy all their canvases. How long have they been shopping at that particular store? How much do they pay on average for their canvases? You should also ask to examine some of the canvases yourself just to make sure that they are exactly the type you are after. The Sydney Canvas Company has a wide variety of canvases available, from cotton canvas to custom canvas, you are spoil for choices there.

Artist online forums

There are many places on the Internet you can go to mingle with other artists about where they buy their art supplies. These are called artist forums. You can post a specific question and wait for a reply from one of the other users. You can also join in a general discussion and gather some information from this. The people you will encounter on these forums are enthusiastic about their craft. They will be more than willing to share information with you about where to buy good supplies. You will most likely get the names of several art supply stores you were unaware of.

Search for art supply retailers online

Another alternative method you can use to find the art canvases you need is to simply search for stores that sell art supplies. You will find no shortage of them online. You should not buy your canvases from the first place you find that sells the specific type you are looking for. Shop around to see if you can find a lower price.

Buying a piece of property is an investment that many people make during their lifetime. Many people usually make that initial investment in real estate as a primary residence. It used to be that just about any piece of property would increase in value no matter the area it was in or the condition of the property. Now, with the current state of the economy, you just can’t automatically count on the property increasing in value. You have to think outside the box. You may have to do a little bit of work to improve the property to either re-sell it or make it more comfortable to live in. You can hire a designer to help you with the flip or you can save a few bucks and use home remodel software to help you along.

Project Ideas
The first thing that you can do with this type of software is collect your project ideas. There are multiple ideas for common project ideas for every room in your home. You can browse pictures, use Pinterest, and create a collection of what you would like to do in each room. You don’t have to worry about transferring your ideas from magazines, television improvement shows, and more to one central place. It is all there for you at your fingertips.

Project Planning
The next thing you can do with this type of software is create a plan for all of your projects. You can organize and prioritize all your wish list projects on a timeline, budget for them, and then see what your budgeted and organized plan is over a matter of weeks to years. It is up to you. It keeps everything ordered and budgeted and keeps you on track.

Project Costs
As you begin the projects on your planning list, you can use the home remodel software to easily input your expenditures and receipts to track what you have spent on the project during each stage. It is also a great way to show the investment you have made in the home when the time comes to sell the property. This type of software can also help track the items needed for multiple projects and much more.

Sometimes I feel like I can lose my mind and should be admitted to some residential treatment centers .. lol!

Anyway, when I saw this on facebook, I knew I had to try it out and guess what.. it worked. Now my headphones are nice and neat and don’t cause me to pull hair when I want to put in… yeay!

When I look at all the junk food in my kitchen cabinet, sometimes I wonder why I am complaining so much about my weight gain. After all you are what you eat right and if that sentiment is anything go by, then I am definitely symbolic of all those potato chips, chocolate bars and sweet desserts found in my kitchen cabinet. Sigh..But then again what is a girl to eat in the middle of the night when she’s working on websites and doing her graphics works.. after all she needs the energy.. (excuses..excuses.. lol!)

Anyway, I should buy healthier food to snack on when I visit the grocery store tomorrow. I mean there must be alternatives that can boost energy and satisfy my sweet tooth somewhere out there. Perhaps I should look into organic food as alternatives too. After all if I’m trying to eat healthy, organic food must just do the trick.

Speaking of organic food, did you guys know that there is such a thing as organic clothing? Well, apparently there is and it is not that expensive either as what I can see from the site that I visited. It seems organic clothing are made using products obtained from organic agriculture such as organic cotton, organic wool, organic silk or organic jute and are free from any type of chemicals (such as pesticides), or genetically modified seeds.  I have yet to own any clothing made from these products but may very consider it in the future or since I am visiting a friend who has just given birth, organic baby clothes  may just be the ideal gift for the new bundle of joy.

Anyway, since health is the topic of the day (or is it night?) I need my sleep now. Have an early day tomorrow and hopefully 4hours of  power sleep will be sufficient enough for me to stay awake all day later..

Have a fantastic Wednesday all!

Ever you ever heard of the mood stone? It seems that this stone can detect the way you are feeling. So if you were wearing one and you’re feeling happy, perhaps because that phentermine diet pill you’re taking is working, then it would turn dark blue. However it it’s not working fast enough so that you can’t fit into that little black dress that want to wear for that high school reunion, then it would turn grey!

I seriously don’t know if I want people to know my mood for any specified moment but I must admit it would make an awesome gift. What do you think?

This is quite a lengthy post but I got this from an email that was circling around, and I thought it was kind of nice. I hope you like it too and find some good insights from it.

Tree
_____________
People call me “Tree”.I had dated 5 girls when I was in Pre-U. There is one girl who I love a lot but never dared to go after. She didn’t have a pretty face, good figure or an outstanding charm. She was just a very ordinary girl. I liked her. I really liked her. I liked her innocence, her frankness, her intelligence and her fragility. Reason for not going after her was that I felt somebody so ordinary like her was not a good match for me. I was also afraid that after we were together all the feelings would vanish. I was also afraid other’s gossip would hurt her.

I felt that if she were my girl, she’d be mine ultimately & I didn’t have to give up everything just for her. The last reason, made her accompanying me for 3 years. She watched me chase other girls, and I have made her heart cry for 3 years. She was a good actor, and me a demanding director. When I kissed my second girlfriend, she bumped into us. She was embarrassed but smiled & said, “Go on!” before running off. The next day, her eyes were swollen like a walnut. I did not want to know what caused her to cry. Later that day, I returned from soccer training to get something & watched her cry in the classroom for an hour or so. My fourth girlfriend did not like her.There was once when both of them quarreled. I know that based on her character she is not the type that will start the quarrel. However, I still sided my girlfriend. I shouted at her & ignored her feelings and walked off with my girlfriend. The next day, she was laughing & joking with me like nothing happened. I know she was hurt but she did not know deep down inside I was hurt too.

When I broke up with my fifth girlfriend, I asked her out. Later that day, I told her I had something to tell her. I told her about my breakup. Coincidentally, she has something to tell me too, about her getting together. I knew who the person was. His pursuit for her had been the talk of the School. I did not show her my heartache, just smiles & best wishes.Once I reached home, I could not breathe. Tears rolled & I broke down. How many times have I seen her cry for the man who did not acknowledge her presence?

During graduation, I read a SMS in my hp. It said, “Leaf’s departure isbecause of Wind’s pursuit. Or because Tree didn’t ask her to stay”

Leaf
_______________

People call me Leaf.

During the 3 years of Pre-U, I was on very close terms with a guy as buddy kind. However, when he had his first girlfriend, I learned a feeling I never should have learned – Jealousy. Sourness to the extreme limit. They were only together for 2 months. When they broke up, I hid my happiness. But after a month, he got together with another girl.

I liked him & I know he liked me. But why won’t he pursue me? Since he loves me why he didn’t he make the first move? Whenever he had a new girlfriend, my heart would hurt. After some time, I began to suspect that this was one-sided love but if he didn’t like me, why did he treat me so well? It’s beyond what you will normally do for a friend. I know his likes, his habits.But his feelings towards me I can never figure out. You can’t expect me, a girl, to ask him. Despite that, I still wanted to be by his side. Care for him, accompany him, and love him. Hoping that one day, he will come to love me. Because of this, I waited for him. Sometimes, I wondered if I should continue waiting. The pain, the dilemma accompanied me for 3 years.

At the end of my 3rd year, a junior pursues me. Everyday he pursues me. He’s like the cool & gentle wind, trying to blow off a leaf from a tree. In the end, I realized that I wanted to give this wind a small footing in my heart. I know the wind will bring the leaf to a better land. Finally, leaf left the tree, but the tree only smiled & didn’t ask me to stay.

Leaf’s departure is because of Wind’s pursuit. Or cause Tree didn’t ask her to stay.

Wind
________________

Because I like a girl called leaf. Because she’s so dependent on tree, so I have to be a gust wind. A wind that will blow her away. When I first met her, it was 1 month after I was transferred to this new school. I saw a petite person looking at my seniors & me playing soccer. During ECA time, she will always be sitting there. Be it alone or with her friends, looking at him. When he talks with girls, there’s jealousy in her eyes. When he looked at her, there’s a smile in her eyes. Looking at her became my habit. Just like, she likes to look at him.

One day, she didn’t appear. I felt something missing. I can’t explain the feeling except it’s a kind of uneasiness. The senior was also not there as well. I went to their classroom, hid outside and saw my senior scolding her. Tears were in her eyes while he left. The next day, I saw her at her usual place, looking at him. I walked over and smiled to her. Took out a note & gave to her. She was surprised. She looked at me, smiled & accepts the note. The next day, she appeared & passes me a note and left.

It read, “Leaf’s heart is too heavy and wind couldn’t blow her away.”

“It’s not that leaf heart is too heavy. It because leaf never want to leave tree.” I replied her note with this statement and slowly she started to talk to me & accept my presents & phone calls. I know that the person she loves is not me. But I have this perseverance that one day I will make her like me. Within 4 months, I have declared my love for her no less than 20 times. Every time, she will divert away from the topic. But I never give up. If I decide I want her to be mine, I will definitely use all means to win her over. I can’t remember how many times I have declared my love to her. Although I know, she will try to divert but I still bear a small ray of hope.

Hoping that she will agree to be my girlfriend. I didn’t hear any reply from her over the phone. I asked, “What are you doing? How come you didn’t want to reply?” She said, “I’m nodding my head”. “Ah?” I couldn’t believe my ears. “I’m nodding my head” She replied loudly. I hang up the phone, quickly changed and took a taxi and rush to her place & press her doorbell. During the moment when she opens the door, I hugged her tightly.

Leaf departure is because of Wind pursuit. Or because Tree didn’t ask her to stay…

** Moral **
_____________________

In love, we win very rarely, but when love is true, even if you lose, you still win just for having the tingle of loving someone more than you love yourself. There comes a time when we stop loving someone, not because that person has stopped loving us but because we have found out that, they’d be happier if we let go….

Why do we close our eyes when we sleep? When we cry? When we imagine? When we kiss? This is because THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS IN THE WORLD ARE UNSEEN.

There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind, but keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world. It’s the beginning of a new life. Happiness lies for those who cry those who hurt, those who have searched and those who have tried. For only they can appreciate the importance of the people who have touched our lives.

A great love? It’s when you shed tears and stil
l you care for them, it’s when they ignore you and still you long for them. It’s when they begin to love another and yet you smile and say, “I’m happy for you.” If love fails, set yourself free, let your heart spread its wings and fly again. Remember you may find love and lose it, but when love dies, you never have to die with it.

The strongest people are not those who always win but those who stand back up when they fall. Somehow, along the course of life, you learn about yourself and realize that there should never be regrets, only a lifelong appreciation of the choices you’ve made. Loving is not how you forget but how you forgive, not how you listen but how you understand, not what you see but how you feel, and not how you let go but how you hold on.

It’s more dangerous to weep inwardly rather than outwardly. Outward tears can be wiped away while secret tears scar forever…

It’s best to wait for the one you want than settle for one that’s available. It’s best to wait for the right one because life is too short to waste on just someone.

3 Cheers to True Love !!

Mother Theresa once wrote these sayings so as to remind people to always be good and do the best you can in your lifetime because in the end only you and HIM matter…

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of being selfish with ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis of your life, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway!”

1. First Important Lesson – Cleaning Lady

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the
leaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50’s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.

“Absolutely, ” said the professor. “In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say “hello.”

I’ve never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2. Second Important Lesson – Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960’s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance! e and put her into a taxicab.

She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man’s door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached.

It read:
“Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband’s bedside just before he passed away… God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.”

Sincerely,
Mrs. Nat King Cole

3. Third Important Lesson – Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

“How much is an ice cream sundae?” he asked. “Fifty cents,” replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

“Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?” he inquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.

” Thirty-five cents,” she brusquely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies..

You see, he couldn’t have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4. Fourth Important Lesson. – The obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the
peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand!

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5. Fifth Important Lesson – Giving When it Counts…

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister.

I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, “Yes I’ll do it if it will save her.” As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.

He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, “Will I start to die right away”.

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Most importantly……………….

“Work like you don’t need the money, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like you do when nobody’s watching.”
