Sometimes I wished we had an online pet pharmacy in Malaysia. I mean it’s not like I’m gonna self medicate my kitties but sometimes vets closed so early and getting meds for the kitties are so difficult. I mean check out this site called Entirely Pet Pharmacy and how easy it is to find meds for cats and dogs. Just go to http://entirelypetspharmacy.com/posatex-otic-suspension-15-gm.html and within days the prescription is delivered right up to your doorsteps.. Awesome right?

Well I guess until some sites like this deliver to Malaysia, I would just have to make sure that I visit the vet right before they close to get my meds.

We finally found the sofa that is suitable for us. It is a single day bed and it has metal structures so it won’t be a scratching post for the kitties! Since we were getting mattress for the sofa/bed, we even got some new Latex foam mattress for our own bed as well.

We got the sofa in time for Raya and mommy’s visit so all is awesome!

fountainIt’s been so hot lately that Azwaj put up a fan in the kitty room. I reckon if there was room, I may even want to put one of these Cast Stone Fountains at Soothing Walls in there.. at least the kitties have the option to go swimming in this heat? lol.. yah fat chance since they are all so afraid of bath!

I think we need to start looking out for a stronger monitor stand or even those hanging ones. The kitties are getting stronger and each time to jump onto the cabinet where the tv is, everything shakes. Lucky for us we are still using those huge tv sets. I can’t imagine if we have to upgrade to those thin LCD ones. OMG what a scary thought.. lol

My slow connection is making it almost impossible to upload images but I just wanted to share with you a picture of the 30 boxes of free cat food that we won early this year. I hope they didn’t need to use any car lifts when they were hauling this to my apartment..lol!

Anyway, I most likely got to bring these into KL bit by bit because according to the courier company and confirmed by the Malaysian customs here in Singapore, I would need an import permit from the Veterinary Department in PutraJaya…. Can you feel another OMG coming?

I’ve always love to have carpet in my home. I think it adds a warmness to a room and adds character to plain flooring. I don’t even mind that we have to do upholstery cleaning every other year to keep the carpets clean and fluffy. However since we are paw parents to nine (yeap at last count) furkids, it has become impossible to have carpets in the living room. I mean I don’t mind the vacumming and all since vacumming happens to be one of my fav chores, but it’s the vomitting or the peeing that I can’t handle. Yeap kitties sometimes misbehave for whatever reasons and sometimes they do pee on on places that they are not supposed to like the carpets for instance.

Pet pee is one of the most difficult things to clean and even if you get the smell out, cats have very sharp sense of smell and because of that they may still pee on the same spot and even “invite” to join them. Sounds weird right? But it happens!

So we have resigned to the fact that we will never have permanent carpet in the living room and that we just have to stare at the marble flooring day in and day out. .. boring… lol!  However,  we do have some (carpet) on standby just in case we are entertaining and during which the kitties stay in their kitty room. When that happens, I just smile and enjoy my carpets as much as possible during that few hours before it goes back into storage.

Oh well.. the sacrifices you make for the ones you love..lol!

We could never win any sports awards and trophies but we could win the title “SHEBA CAT” for year if we win the number one spot in the Sheba Catwalk contest. So I have set up a page for Awan to represent the furkids and now just two days later, we are at the number two spot. There is still a lot of work to do and our BFF Emila has been kind enough to help rally her friends to help LIKE Awan’s page.

I have to take lots of picture of the kitties to keep the interest going and for people to continue LIKING the posts, pictures and videos. So.. if you have time, please lend us your support and help us win the title and the grand prize of “12-month supply of SHEBA cat food”!

And.. for Likers already.. thank you so much for the LIKE Love!!!

Thanks so much!

One of the things I missed about leaving my laptop in Singapore is the ability to work and watch tv with the kitties in the living room. Usually I would set up my working area at the dining area, switch on the tv and then let the furkids out. That way I can spend time with the kitties and still continue to work.

So now that the laptop is missing, I just bring my phone and hangout on the sofa with Gianto running around like a mad cat and Jesse sitting on the tv blocking my view.. hahhah.. Sometimes I wished I had one of those tv stands with mounts, then I can watch the tv with no tails in the way.

Gianto, our cat, had just returned from a trip to the vet for a neutering session. He is recovering nicely and although still slow in his movement and definitely not his usual self, he is eating and already starting to groom himself (which is always a good sign). We have placed him at nice cozy corner in the living room and made a pet bed of the pet basket and he is resting now.

Get well soon Gianto!

Something happened today that really made Azwaj a superhero. So I thought that these song is so apt for such an incident.

Anyway, who doesn’t need a hero right? Some strong man to hold you in his arms while you are in some sort of womens lingerie and sweep you off your feet as the both of you ride into the sunset.. lol! Yeah yeah.. fantasies.. a woman is entitled..lol!

When you have cats in the house like me, you don’t really need any floral arrangement on the coffee table because this is what happens most time when my kitties are in the living room.

awan

They love to hangout wherever we are and most time they just loiter on our feet while some will sleep on the coffee table or the tv.  So cats for decor anyone?

Life been pretty hectic lately with….

1. Our move
2. Mufasa’s illness and then his passing
3. Mother-in-law being hospitalized (still warded but should be out real soon)
4. Anja illness (now being hospitalized at the UPM Pet Clinic) with not so good news about her kidney)

All these events should really be good appetite suppressant you would think right? But “NO”… I’m eating more.. I think it’s all the stress!!

You guy must know that I have six pets that I fondly refer to as my kids. They are Mufasa, Minnie, Nina, Anja, Aggie and last but definitely not least, Smokey. They keep me busy with their never ending request for attention and at the same time keeping me entertained with their many antics and different character. I love looking after them and have never thought as them as burden no matter how much vacuuming I have to do daily.

Some people may not understand this. Some people might think pets are nuisance and just unnecessary trouble. That is why I am thrilled to know people like Mariuca and Jean who totally understand what joy a pet can bring. And that is also why I love Zoo Too.

Zoo Too is actually a social networking sites for pet lovers. Once registered you get to meet other pet lovers, share experiences, learn more about pets and how you can be better pet owners. You can also help other animals in the process as this program donates pet food to animal shelter. Isn’t that awesome?

So if you are an animal lover, you simply have to check it out!

Isn’t it cool!! I was gonna race it on F1 but it was a late admission and was rejected…..

Ha Ha Ha!!

Actually folks, this was what I bought yesterday at Carrefour while shopping for new chairs for hubby’s office. It is a remote control car to play with my kitties…. Grand eh?? It was so cheap at RM19.95 that it was too hard to resist!

Both me and hubby love to “kacau” or “disturb” the kitties with toys like this. It is so fun to watch their responses to such an open “threat” which to us seems so innocent. I will try to catch a video or picture soon and post it over at Cat Tales in case anyone is interested…

We only slept like at 7am this morning and I awoke at around 12noon anticipating to go to hubby’s company secretarial office for him and his partner to sign off papers on this year’s audit. Well that didn’t happen as there was still some documents that was not ready.

But what did happen was the shock of my life when I woke up to a warzone. A warzone of sh*t! I know I should have taken picture but I was so engrossed in looking for the source and cleaning up the mess that I forgot. Check out my kitties blog to know what the fuss is all about.

Wow.. really a TGIF moment!

Panic Alert! Panic Alert!

A Swallow has landed. I repeat a swallow has landed. Keep the cats calm.. save the bird!

That was the chaos we experience just ten minutes ago. A swallow has apparently lost it’s way and entered our house through our balcony. Both me and hubby went on “save the bird mode” Smokey and Mufasa went on “catch the bird mode” all along going “Toy, toy”. Of course that would be “Meow, meow” in cat language.

The bird made it’s way into the kitchen and Smokey went into flight mode. I grabbed him in mid-air and hubby grabbed first thing he can, and that happened to be a traditional food cover also known as “Tudung Saji” to catch the bird before any of the other kitties do. All along Aggie was calm.

Hubby managed to finally catch up with the bird who was already beginning to tire out using the handy “tudung saji”. He petted it for a while before letting it go out the balcony as well.

Smokey’s not happy, Mufasa is now very grumpy. Aggie is still calm…

Panic Alert recalled…..

A typical “tudung saji”..only ours was plastic :-)
