I Want This Dress

It’s been a while since I catch up on one of my favorite shows, Gossip Girl. I mean what’s not to love about the show right? There’s Serena who looks great in everything she wears especially if she dolls up in one of her homecoming dresses to attend her endless events. Then there is Blair who is marrying a prince (or so at my last watch) and of course the evil villain Chuck, who actually is not evil after all.. lol! Oh and of course, there is that very complex storyline that only television can concoct.

Anyway, I wonder when will I ever get a chance to doll up like the ladies in Gossip Girl. It must be nice to go shopping all the time for new fancy clothes especially if it is at DressFirst. I absolutely love this piece and although there is plenty of colors to choose from, I think this emerald green is the best they have.

Power on the Go

I love my gadgets. Call me a geek but whenever I get any new gadget, I would explore all it’s features and test each one to make sure I totally utilize it. I also use my gadgets for all sorts of purpose, from the usual task of checking email, Facebook and Twitter updates, I also I use it to watch movies and tv series whenever I am on my five hour bus ride back to my homeland. As you can imagine, my battery juice runs out quite fast so I am looking for some kind of phone Accessories that can help me with this.

Well, I found this baby on Groupon for RM145. A 12,800mAh Dual-charging Universal Power Bank with 8 Adaptor Pins. Talk about power on the go right? I haven’t quite bought it but am looking around to see what else is there in the market. Super awesome!

Is The LG Optimus One My New Phone?

My G8 mobile phone is relatively new but as I mentioned before are giving signs me of old age. I keep needing to recharge it although I hardly use it and some functions, like the alarm clock, are no longer working. The one thing I do love about the phone is the big screen, the dual sim card and the tv function.

So having said that I’m on the lookout for another phone. I saw The LG Optimus the other day and at RM899, I think it’s definitely on my shortlisted list. Anyone using it yet or have any comments on that? Check out the videos before and see what this phone can go… Awesome I say!

Shopping Shopping

On my trip to Singapore this time, guess what I’m gonna go shopping for? No.. not for some Orange NJ dental implants but for a new pair of glasses. Yeap! Like I’ve mentioned in my woman blog, it’s been 4 years since my last eye check up and I do think my prescription has changed so I’m off to the optician this time.

Last trip down I had every intention of getting a new pair with those transitional lenses. You know the kind that change to a darker color in very bright lighting and clears up in normal lighting? Well, not only will it cost me around SGD600 just for the lens but my optician also did not recommend it for me because of my high prescription. He told me that since transitional lenses are made of plastic, my lenses would be extra thick and would look darn ugly. So, disappointment, I did go through with my plan.

This time around though I’m going through with it, normal high index, multicoated, and uv whatever…. I’m getting a new pair of glasses! Wohoo!!

I Love Free Stuff

If you know me well, you’d know that apart from good bargains, I love free stuff. It doesn’t matter if I don’t need it (eg. ping pong table) or I don’t have use for it, if it’s free, chances are I want it!.. and WANT is a BIG word for me! LOL.

Currently I’m collecting stamps from the hypermart Giant for some cookware. It’s not that I don’t already have what they are offering but again, remember that BIG word “WANT”? So because of that I am diligently collecting the stamps. I would get 1 stamp for every RM30 purchase and the expiration for the offer is in February 2o1o so I reckon I will earn enough to at least get the medium size saucepan.. which would require 190stamps and a payment of RM9.90! LOL!

Wish me luck and if you have stamps that you don’t need from Giant, pass them along to me ok! ahhaahh

I Want A New Phone *

So I was over at Giant earlier today and as A was at the counters queuing to pay, I wondered off to a Nokia Sales Kiosk that was just underneath the escalator. I’m not really looking to buy a new phone but I do want to keep my options open in case, Miss VB is beyond repair or if it would cost me a bomb to repair her, then I might as well get a new phone right?

My eyes scanned through all the range of phones the kiosk had and it landed on (whaddaya know!), the most attractive of them all, the N97! OMG! I totally fell in love with it. It has this big screen and it was in black and it was looking all sleek and sexy. The price? A whopping RM2397!

I guess I will keep looking eh.. lol!

New Sexy Shoes Please

The last time I bought me a new pair of shoes was last year and if I recalled correctly, it was this month too! So I think a new pair of shoes are in order right?

And to justify my getting some juicy couture flats or heels, is the fact that for no reason or rhyme, the right heel of my one-year old shoe is worned out.. not from too much walking, mind you, but because each time I ride on the motorbike (though I’m not sure how this happened) the heel rested on the stupid exhaust and “burn” the heels. It’s a wonder that my own heels are not worned off.. lol!

Though my shoes don’t look as bad as TH’s shoes that looks like it’s breaking into two.. lol.. I still think I need a get a new pair and sooner is better than later for sure.

So.. yes.. I am in need of new shoes now.. anyone knows where I can get a good bargain?

The Mind Reader

I could have sworn that sometimes these retailers can read my mind simply because I was just saying to A yesterday that I wanted to look around for digital camcorders and to purchase one if it was economical enough, to record our move and also to add it as part of my “asset” collection and this morning I got an email from this site that is offering like eighty bucks discount on certain models! Are they mind readers or what??

I have not scout around for bargains here yet but check out the prices on these models. I think they are economical right? I especially LOVE the red one!

Happy Engagement Pak Man

Our friend Pak Man, as we fondly calls him, is getting engaged very soon. Last he spoke to Azwaj, he was on the lookout for engagement rings. Now, we all know how ladies can get when talking about jewelery so Pak Man, here are some suggestions I would like to put forward so that your future fiance will love you even more! LOL!

Computer Desk Dreams...

Have I told you lately how much I love furniture? Have I told you lately how much I desperately need to look at computer desks to replace the current one that I’m using? Well Azwaj promised that when we move to a bigger house, we would buy me one! A nice one just like the picture here.. See how it is a corner unit? Can you imagine the amount of space I could save?

Now I can’t wait to move…!

How I wished..

Ok people, there might be talk of another move soon. I know, I know, the previous one was a false alarm but this time we are seriously looking for another house to rent. Emphasis on the word HOUSE. Azwaj is getting sick and tired of the lift service here at the building, plus he’s never really was a fan of apartment living anyway. Although they so called repaired both lifts now, we are still at the mercy of the lifts in that if it decide to bypass our floor, it would bypass our floor. It’s like it has mind of its own!

Anyway, this time around, we would be looking for a house. Yeap, a house with no lift but with a porch where we can park the car and the motorbike side by side and preferably a nice back yard too that the kitties can sun tan in the morning. Oh, a house with kitchen cabinets would be nice too. With the climate in Malaysia, we won’t be needing any fixtures like Gas Fires or Electric Fires but a nice water heater for the bathroom would be extremely nice so I can shower anytime of the day without fear of getting an asthma attack.

Ok, so the search is on.. anyone knows anyone who’s renting in Ampang?? Hook me up ok

I need a new phone

I need a new cellphone pretty much like now coz my Siemens one is dying on me. Even ffter I’ve given it all the juice it need, it will still die on me with just one phone call or a few text messages. The keypad is also no longer as sensitive as before. I need to press and press the keys for the numbers to stick which makes dialing and texting difficult if not impossible. I could potentially just use my old Nokia 3315 phone that works fine but that means, no camera, no saving of send messages and limited phone storage numbers. Nah… I don’t think so…lolzz.

I have two phones in mind right now. I’m torn between the Sony Ericsson P1i which is also a PDA phone, and the other is a Sony Ericsson K850i which has 5megapixel camera – which also means I don’t need to get me a digital camera anymore! Ahhh the dilemma. Maybe I should apply for cash advance loans, then I can get both!

If anyone has these phones or have experiences using any or both of the phones, I’d appreciate any feedback so I can make an informed decision before jumping in both feet.

Puss in Box

My kitties love boxes. From boxes that fit…..

So in view of that.. me and Azwaj are thinking of getting them their own cat condo. We fell in love with the selection we found at that store coz they are shaped like boxes so the kiddies would definitely love them and we won’t be worried they might fall off when sleeping either..lol..

Portable DVD player

Me and hubby’s family are planning a trip up north to Ipoh and probably Kedah, to visit his relatives and long time friends this Hari Raya holidays. As it is going to be a very long drive, I have been urging him to get me one of those portable DVD player for the car. At least I can watch a few of my favorite movies during those long hours and keep awake instead of sleeping throughout the journey.

I kind of fancy the portable 10 inch DVD player like the one from Digitalframez dot com because not only can I use it in the car, using the cigarette lighter, but also and on its own, with a rechargeable battery, that can last for as long as four hours! Imagine all the movies I can watch both in the car and out. Sweet!

Two for the price of one. Awesome and really a bargain :-)

My new camera phone

I mean “Going” to be my new camera phone that is..heheh..
