Insurance Needs

We are in the midst of checking out medical insurance. At the same we thought we might as well compare term life insurance rates from all the other insurance company as well to see what they can offer. With so many illnesses going around nowadays, insurance has become a necessity. Just yesterday we visited a friend of the family who was in the hospital for a surgery. It would cost her RM55,000 to have it done. Can you imagine if she doesn’t have insurance?

Those Rainy Days

I wonder how much my premium would be if I were to get health insurance right now. It makes sense seeing how medical cost has gone up so much. I have a substantial amount in my medisave account in Singapore but I can only use that if I was hospitalized in Singapore only, which I think is pretty dumb, but that’s the rules. The last time I was hospitalised  for my fibroid removal, it cost me a hefty RM10,000 which we had to pay from our own pocket. I hope to never do that again, hence the need to get some insurance quotes soon.
