Freelancing is the Best

One thing I love about working as my own boss is the awesome working hours. I can work whenever and however long, or short, I wanted without having a boss looking down at my shoulders. Working as a freelancer also means that I can take time off whenever I want without having to worry that I will lose my employment when I come back. Worst case scenario, I lose a client or two in the process but hey .. life is short and you can’t work all the time.

Having said that, I really appreciate all my clients who have been so understanding through my hard times in April. They were supportive and were willing to wait for me even I told them I will have to take time off indefinitely when my mother-in-law passed away followed by the passing of one of my fur-kids. I will forever remember your kindness.

A Nice Corner for Azwaj

It was a busy labour day for us. We decided that we’re gonna change the layout of our home office so that A could have a little area where he can place his amplifier and guitars so that he can play with it a lot more. We took out some rugs that we had in the store room and created a nice little corner for him underneath the window. The corner is not looking nice enough for pictures but it’s nice enough for A to sit on the floor, hook up his electric guitar to the amplifier and strum away.

Nice to see my A’s spirit lifting since his mother’s passing :).
